Stopped "vaping" about 9 months ago after getting tired of the same ole tanks coming to the market having the same features one after the other and it just wasn't enough after a while to keep me buying liquids and parts for a vape that wasn't pleasing as i wanted it to be. Never got into RBA's as it seemed like a hassle just to have a good-smooth vape experience. Watching videos on it and how to do it is as far as i went with it. Anyways, every few months or so i would check on this online vendor i used a lot, to see if there was anything new that kicked the old tanks to the curb, seen they had a sub-ohm tank and thought nothing of it and left the website. Then about 2 weeks ago i checked there website again and seen tons of these "sub-ohm" tanks, soo straight to youtube i went.

After seeing how these tanks performed i instantly was ready to buy a new mod and grab me a sub tank, thankfully before purchasing i kept watching more reviews on them and realized that some do more of this while others do that, some have this feature while others don't. Its a whole new world its seem like.
I've literally switched the tank i want to get through 5 different ones after watching so many reviews, even ended up wanting the one i wanted before, its weird. Purchasing a tank was never so difficult in the past.

So i just need help from anyone who has used a few sub-ohm tanks already and know which is better in certain areas my main preference in the tank would be the following below, top being the number 1 preference:

+Flavor
+Vapor production
+best coil heads for high VG, 70% and up
+Top fill
+RBA capable, if you know a great tank for me without RBA and one that does have it, please share both!
+And last but not least, best tank for no dry hits

Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks

Dont know about top fill tanks that arent rebuild only. They might be out there but I havent seen em. Sounds like you're looking for a Kangertech Subtank mini. Its good for all the things you listed, except the dry hit thing....thats on you and how you use it. Prime your wicks, let them reload between drawls, etc.

+1 to @Darth Omerta except I think the Aspire Triton is top fill. In truth, though, if you want a hard hitting top fill tank for High VG juices, I'd suggest a Lemo 2 for single coils or a Fogger V6 for dualies. But you'd have to build both of them. The aren't set up for manufactured coils.

My favorite subΩ tank for high wattage vaping is the UWell Crown (top fill) tank. Great flavor & vapor production.

Running the stock 0.2Ω coils at 70 watts. I have heard that the "sweet spot" for the 0.2Ω coil is 90 watts but can be run even higher. I use 70VG, no problems.

Doesn't come with a RBA but one can be purchased separately.

UD zephyrus is a top fill tank with both disposable coil and an rba. It can generate flavor and cloud pretty well. However, the rba can be difficult to build.

Another tank is the aspire triton that also is a top fill and comes with both disposable coil and RTA coil kit. Pbusardo has reviewed it to be a flavourful tank with decent cloud. However, there's reports of leaking issues.

There should be other tanks out there that may fit your criteria but I can only think of the mentioned 2 for the time being.

With the exception of RBA capable, the Freemax Starre Pro fits everything you need and is much better than the Kanger Subtank Mini. It has the top fill, it is easily in the top 3 subtanks for flavor, MUCH better than the Subtank, it produces absolutely massive clouds, works great with max VG juices, and never gives a dry hit.

There are only two shortcomings I can think of aside from the lack of an RBA deck (which is rumored to be coming shortly BTW)

First, it comes with a Ni200 coil so if you don't have a temperature control mod you'll need to buy kanthal coils at the same time to use it. Kanthal coils come in .5 and .25ohms, I highly recommend the .25ohm coils. They're cheap and they last a LONG time. Probably the longest lasting coils of any subtank out there. (Freemax rates them at 60-80 refills, or 300-400ml of juice per coil)

Second, it needs a high watt mod to run right. You'll want to run it in the 60-80W range if you want it to perform at it's best.

Alternatively there is the Zephyrus. The Zephyrus also has top fill, excellent flavor and vapor production (equal to the Starre) and unlike the Starre it comes with an RBA section. The one common complaint I've heard with the Zephyrus is that the wicking is very picky and easy to get wrong. It's best to watch several youtube videos on building and wicking the Zephyrus before trying it yourself. It's not for beginners. Premade coils for it are a bit more expensive than the Starre and don't last quite as long although they still last quite a while. Also it will come with kanthal coils so if you want to build your own there is no need to buy extras to use it, unlike the Starre Pro which comes with Ni200 coils.

How is the unwell crowns RBA deck?
I don't have one. Check YouTube for reviews. The RBA base is designed for horizontal builds. The stock coils are vertical.

Also, if you get the UWell crown be prepared, it is a "juice sponge". If I used it all day I would run through 30mls (or more). I treat it as a "dessert".

@Completely Average was wanting the zeph for a bit till i heard the same thing, i would be okay with practicing building while using coil heads but heard and seen that there coil heads are packed with cotton and are just not good coil heads so i would have to build only on that tank. and no other coil heads fit that tank. But i do like the freemax starre, would it work well with a 60-70 watt max mod?

Yeah, the Starre will work fine in the 60-70W range.

There is the Starre Pro which has top fill and comes with nickel coils and there is also the original Starre which is a bottom-fill tank but comes with kanthal coils. The coils are interchangeable between the two tanks, but do be aware that if you don't have a TC mod and order the Starre Pro you'll need kanthal coils at the same time. Nickel coils are not to be used in non-TC mods.

Also, just so you're aware, the Starre Pro has a 4ml tank capacity and the regular Starre has a 5ml tank capacity. I personally don't like being forced to choose between smaller capacity or more work to refill, but it is what it is. I do love my Starre though, I can tell you that. It's a much better tank than my Subtank Mini.

@m00shie yea i avoided the titon after hearing about those leaking issues, thats also i big thing too, thats why I'm hesitate for the manger sub tank after hearing kind of the same thing
I picked up the Triton last weekend at the NJ Vape Expo. I haven't used any of the coils that came with it. The first coil I tried was the vAir-T nickel coil for the Atlantis. I had some leaking, although I am not sure if the leaking was due to the coil I was using (the coil has a variable juice flow control and I had it opened up all the way) or maybe the 60VG juice I was using in it. I switched to using a Vaporshark Atlantis nickel coil and started using a higher VG juice (currently using max VG) and haven't had it leak at all.

Someone said they contacted Aspire and Aspire recommends not leaving the tank in "vape" mode if it is going to be sitting for a while. FWIW, I currently leave it in "vape" mode overnight while I sleep and have not come across flooding coils or leaks.

I have two in transit to me. From what I have read online, it seems there are way more leaking with this tank than with the Triton, but it seems like the leaking issues is user error.
