Thankfully the people at Aspire and Kanger and Eleaf don't have this sentiment.....or those at Vuse and Blu either.

I'll quote an old friend of mine:

" Remember when vaping was about not smoking? "

Innovation in vaping devices IMHO should continue to keep this in mind.

What I may vape now is irrelevant to the subject --- but I sure was happy to have an ego tank way back when and I am thrilled that clearo's like ProTank & Nauti became available for the new vaper (and veteran as well). I sure would have liked to have had such quality available to me years ago and do not want it to go away and be replaced by cloud chasing or build only toppers.

Vaping for me is ALL about not smoking -- and Kayfuns provide the best simulation I've ever found. And no, I don't buy the expensive authentics, when the Tobeco clones cost so much less and work just as well -- if not better!

You may have missed the point Andrea. It was not intended to be any insinuation about your personal vaping style -- but only an attempt to stay on topic ---- and support the idea that if there is anyone out there that is switching from smoking to vaping that a good clearo tank, non sub-ohm style, is IMHO a good way to do this.

If all "blister packs" become sub-ohm, then vuse and blu will quickly become the only logical choice, IMHO, of course. Ones who start vaping to cloud chase.....may have a very different experience and learning curve.

So the subohm tank I got didn't help me, and I'm stupid for trying it?? I instead should have kept wasting money on stuff that didn't work for me because YOU don't think it is logical

I recommend N minis to beginers because I know what experience they are going to have and I know that because it's what I started on. For the first few days N mini coils taste great then they decline exactly save as my drippers. The difference is I can dry burn and rewick an RDA in a few minutes for a few cents instead of dollars for the replacable coils. The beginner doesn't suffer because he doesn't know any better. He can learn about that later.

I smoked tobacco pipes back in the day. There was a learning curve. Vaping is the same.

I'd also like to add that the only reason I asked is because that's (Nautilus) the tank I really got into vaping with and it's a solid device. And I don't think that the vape companies are ignoring non-sub ohm vapers but it's just a case of wondering how many times you can reinvent the wheel so to speak.

ETA: And to be quite honest in the last week or two I've ran into 3 vapers (a lot for around here) and they were all rocking Nautili two on ego type batteries and one on a box vv/vw. Even though they maybe older they are still very popular.

After a while as a vaper, I came to realize, in the end, it is just about using current, to heat a wire, to vaporize nicotine in a base. Every new latest and greatest is just a variation on a theme. One could take any particular atomizer, and if they care, maximize it's potential with a little tweaking, some easier than others. It's really all about the Toys, and getting you to spend more money...

I used T3S tanks for a couple months, after I got fed up with eRolls, and they were a semi-decent way to transition from cigalikes to real vaping, but they were also one problem after another - dry hits, leaking, flooding, is that enough wick or too much... aaarghhh! Plus the neverending cost of replacement coils. I finally started learning to rebuild those, and it helped a LITTLE, but not much... someone informed me that if I was capable of rebuilding a T3S, I should just get a Kayfun - bigger, easier, and MUCH!!! better vape -- best advice I've had yet.

Hmm -- I don't see the word stupid anywhere in my posts or anything that would infer that.

I merely suggest that it often is not the best way to start the switch from smoking to e-cigs.....especially if one has smoked for several years. For one thing, old tar laden lungs can't handle that direct hit very well from what I read on the forums. Often people want to similuate smoking, and direct inhale doesn't do that too well. After vaping for awhile and the lungs clean up --- then go for it, if one wishes.

You are welcome to disagree, but being offended by my comment, is not warranted.

The key for people new to vaping, a setup that will not drive them crazy and make them give up before they are able to see if vaping will help them or not.

People that think the way they do something is the right way and best way, aren't helping anyone, neither are the D-bags that feel the need to make fun of noobs

I'd have no problem telling someone to get an ego style pen but also have no problem suggesting a nautilus and istick 30 or a tube style battery

I don't think I've seen anyone on this site suggesting a subohm setup for someone new to vaping. If they do at your local B&M, stop going to that store, the people there are only in it to make money and not give helpful advice
