Hi Guys,

while I'm still not completely of the stinkies, at least I cut it from 30 sticks to about 8-10 per day - I know it's slow progress, but I'm getting there, especially since I just recently found my ADV. Having said that, Boba's Bounty is the only e-juice that works as an ADV for me, and yes - I don't want to sound like a fan boy, but it just appears to work for me.

Anyways, I bought a number of tanks (kanger pro-tank II, pro-tank mini, aspire, nautilus and a few others) and while some of them work better than others, I'm still looking for a good consistent taste of my beloved Boba's without going through 10 atomizers a month (particularly on the nautilus aspire, which currently is my favorite btw).

I'm looking for some recommendations re. using high VG based liquids (cleaning, dry-burning frequency etc.). The mods I predominantly use are an evic and a VTR. I love both mods, but at this point I apparently need some user instructions with regards to appropriately using tanks with high VG based liquids.

Any help, hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Pete

Bb is my adv and I recommend any rba that you can dry burn easily. Sometimes I need to once a day. Any tedious tear downs are a pain. Kfl's, those requiring emptying tanks, etc are a pain. I tend to stick with filler based attys like spheroid, heron and prometey 2. I prefer silica or readywick instead of cotton for a few reasons with bobas.

Hi Pete, I have been using BB as my ADV for well over a year. First 6 months or so I used kanger MT3S rebuilt with cotton. I thought it was the best, then I got my first of four Russian 91's. I build a 10 wrap 28 guage coil, wick with cotton and I'm good typically for two tanks. By the end of the second tank I remove the wick and toss it, rinse, dry burn and rewick. Most consistent tank I have found to date. Hope this helps

Boba's is a coil-gunker! I run it in my Russian and I've found I can really only get one tank full, if I push it and refill, it starts tasting bad about half way through the 2nd tank. I've finally decided I'm just going to have to dry burn and re-wick after every tank. That said, on a fresh cotton wick and a clean coil, it's very, very nice.

I agree, BB is worth it but be prepared to maintain your gear a lot when vaping it. It's thick, dark and sweet so it basically has all of the attributes that coils and wicks don't play well with.

Whatever you are using, at a bare minimum, I'd recommend at least a quick rinse under hot running water every tank fill and doing a dry burn every few tank fills.

As others have suggested, if you are using any type of rebuildable, you'll end up changing the cotton frequently.

I vape it in a Reomizer 2 (which is basically an RDA) and have to rewick every 4 mls or so (about every day). Well, I probably don't have to, but I choose to as a fresh wick brings out the best in the juice.

Love my BB! While not an ADV for me, I enjoy especially in the evening with my after-dinner coffee. I put BB in a cartomizer, about 2 ohm, and run it in an IBT. I self-punch two holes in the carto. Although BB is a VG heavy juice, I have had little flow problems. The cartos do eventually gunk up and two or three tank fills, at which point I just change out the carto in the IBT.

Although I'm not a fan of Boba's, I have some and understand the issues it brings to most delivery devices which use a wick.

If you don't wish to get into rebuildables (like the Kayfun, Russian, Reomizer, etc), I'll suggest a 510 drip atomizer on a Reo or other bottom feeder box mod. The 510 drip atomizer doesn't have a wick to clog - just a heating coil. A bottom feeder box mod has a built-in tank which can feed the atomizer backwards by "squonking" the juice bottle (via a window opening in the mod body). The full flavor of a drip atomizer with the convenience of a tank.

I have been trying to vape BB in my aerotank, using the older single coil heads and I re-build my own coils and re-wick with organic cotton. The problem is that I keep getting a bad cotton taste, even with brand new coil and cotton! I even tried to put so little cotton that it started flooding and still a burnt cotton taste. I am using organic cotton, but haven't pre-boiled it. Anyone have any advice on what I could do differently? Like if I boiled the cotton, would that take care of the dirty sock cotton taste?
