Try storing your bottom coils upside down when going from air conditioning to outdoors. The temperature change from cold to hot expands things, and that can be causing some flooding. When you do go to vape outdoors, at least you'll be starting out without the flooding. May get more satisfying vapes during your break that way.

The iClear 16 may be a good tank to try if the 30 behaved better for you. Looser draw then the 30, bit it's still a top, dual coil. I preferred bottom coils, as they are easier to maintain and clean, but I do think top coils handle pressure and temperature shifts a bit better.

This is correct. The i30, i16, Vivi Nova, some CE4 and CE5. Just make sure you can get replacement coils.

I have no problems with genesis tank toppers wicked with cotton or rayon but they must be kept upright when not in use.

The major issue with the Iclear tanks is they are plastic. Tank cracker juices will react with the plastic resulting in frosted/cracked/leaking.

Another possibility is a cartomizer tank I used them for a while and didn't have problems. They are a bit of a pain to fill and changing flavors is an issue. Again be sure to get a glass tank with a lock. Smoketech and IBtanked make some nice ones.
