tank is subjective. I run a few DCC tanks and a few vivi nova's. i like the vivi nova better as i tend to switch flavors often and they are easier to clean and i can rebuild them. others hate them or prefer a legit rebuildable tank.

The question was about carto tanks....just sayin'

i really like the feature on the texas tuff with the side filling port it really comes in handy when filling. any others that have that ?

Valley View Vapes' Sidewinder series use fill holes. They're available in polypropylene and pyrex. Both materials will stand up to problematic juices like cinnamon and citrus.

It really shouldnt be. Carto tanks came out first. Novas should be called clearo tanks to eliminate confusion on the matter.

.... I have always found it funny that citrus and cinnamon flavors come in a plastic bottle but won't work in a plastic tank.

Me too. Any idea how those aluminum caps hold up to cinnamon? I don't know why, but I've always been hesitant about aluminum degrading.

    You mean like

But ,..... I have always found it funny that citrus and cinnamon flavors come in a plastic bottle but won't work in a plastic tank.

Have you ever had a plastic tank spiderweb on you? I did with a brand new Prive tank.My Craveloupe from AVE cracked the pmma tube in under 5 minutes. Wasnt really expecting that from a melon and canteloupe flavored juice.

Is kind of odd that it does nothing to the bottle its in, or at least anything we can see.

Worse were the early CE4's, I had some that ended up looking like "crackle glass", so now I just vape those flavors out of the bottle

I have always found it funny that citrus and cinnamon flavors come in a plastic bottle but won't work in a plastic tank.

The reason is the bottles that those juices come in is made of polypropylene, which is immune to those flavors. The polypro DCT tanks whose tube is frosted in appearance uses polypropylene plastic, safe for the volatile juices.

My choice of tank factors in cost vs quality vs personal preference in design.

For smaller (slimmer) tanks I like IBTanked for quality and low cost. The Smoktech polypro DCT tank is a nice tank too, if you don't mind using the safer plastic; I just have a personal preference to use pyrex glass tanks from now on.

For larger tanks I like the Triple V Luxury pyrex tanks by Valley View. I don't personally care for the side or top juice feed holes like the sidewinder uses. I also like the Phiniacs, although they are a bit pricier. You get what you pay for with them. I don't have any of the large diameter IBTanks, as my current preference in mod use is with the smaller slimmer mods, but I would expect the larger IBTanks to be of equal quality as the smaller ones.

Not generally a fan of the silicone grommet tanks like Valley View sells or the Texas Tuff Tanks, but I do like the grommet tanks that High Desert sells. It depends upon how tight the grommets hold on to the carto for ease of juice refills. I've already stated my preference for not using fill holes or needing a needle to fill tanks. Just personal preference.

I've not had the Cirrus pyrex tanks, but one day would like to if they ever sell their tanks online. Those pyrex J tanks with the annodized caps look nice too.
