hello all, while brosing the forums i come upon "steeping" and "sampling", i am ffamiliar with steeping for example tea, how would i steep juice and why?

also, i do have some of al types of doodads and thingamabobs to support my new hobbie/cig stopping attempts. i also have new juices coming from HHV including a 4 sample pack, how and which doodad would i use to "sample" small quantity juices? it seems like a waste to use/contaminate a carto or atomizer?

or is just me?:?::p

If you are going to sample, just use an atomizer. You will get the cleanest taste and only use 2-3 drops at a time. If you hate the flavor, at least you only have to vape a few mroe hits to clear it of that taste and open it up for a different flavor.

Steeping allows the flavors to mingle together long enough to really mature the flavor. It is like when you cook spaghetti, and it tastes better the next day as leftovers because it had time to gel in the fridge =)

Pick up a couple cheap dripping atomizers to sample flavors, or an Evod with a 5 pack of heads. The EVOD only holds 1.6ml, can be washed out with hot water, and the heads can be rebuilt easily.

Some better vendors have juice that doesn't need much if any steeping, like EVO or Good Life Vapors. (can't speak to HHV yet)
If you must steep, just let it sit for at least a week, shaking daily. If the juice is an alcohol base, take the cap off for a day or two.
Some can help speed up the steep with a warm water bath or a small crock pot (caps on).

FYI: sampler packs are usually premade in advance and are presteep (as in the case of HHV, and I think they only come in one nic strength, too because of that). When you place a regular size order, most juices will need some steeping.

Usually, caps and drippers off for a few days, drippers and caps back on, shake daily, let sit a week or 2, sample, shake daily, sit longer (if needed) sample again, repeat until ready.

for sampling, an atomizer or small clearo (1ml) works, whatever you prefer).

You really should drip new juice before you commit it to a clearomizer/tank, even if it is only 1 ml. While I agree with jefsview, that samples are often pre-made, you really should give them some time before you make a judgement. Although, sometimes there seems to be some juice that is good out of the bottle, most do need some steeping to really come alive. Either way, if you want to try your samples when they come right away, try dripping if you have the equipment. That way you will only use a few drops of a juice if it isnt good immediately.

There is a method of shaking new juice up and running under warm water or something that I've seen here and there. I haven't tried this though. I'm kind of a shopaholic, so it's rare that I need to start using juice when they come immediately.

hey Jazzi, at this point everything seems to bit by bit make sense, i will take all into consideration, i am sure that once i begin experiencing new flavors and vendors more will become clear.
no im not in a real hurry to sample, the juices i have coming will be replacements for some local flavors i have purchased and not been satisfied with. plus, my taste buds continue to come back. so every day juices taste different anyway. so i need to take that into condideration too.

yes i do have dripping atty's, purchased just for the tasting process, thats just 1 more thing, i am not sure yet which type of vaping is my fav, carto tanks? dripping atty's? i have a zen coming (that ought to be interesting ), bottom feeders? i too am a shopaholic, i will work until all aspects fit my needs! it is imperative my vaping is a success, who thinks cigs are cool anymore right?
