ipv D2 is a nice device, if you want something more rugged an heatvape mini invader should fall under 75 also
I am waiting on reviews of the new cloupor mini, big mini fan myself, and I have a mini from the so said bad batch 00000002, just kept working after numerous drops ... If reviews are good, getting another mini for sure

I've corrected the post about the USB Port and Parallel Batteries. Wasn't sure that is why I put Reputed.

I've had Android Phones and Apple. My Android does more but they've been wonkier then the Apple, that did less but did it right.
I'll stand by my statement that integrated solution are often better then separates.Less variables for the manufacturer to deal with.

Integrated solutions; depends really on what your needs and wants are. Ease of use or tweakeability. You could get something like an istick 40tc on which you only adjust the temp and which has a built in battery (though a comparison to apple would be a device that's set to 420f and 20w without any possibility to adjust, with all flaws being "features" instead of actual flaws :) ) or something like a DNA 200 device where you can adjust just about everything (or a DNA 133 where you get to choose your own batteries as well). The latter might give you a crappy vape if you start messing around with settings without knowing what you're doing, but will give you a fantastic vape when you get the settings perfect.

I guess the best example of an integrated solution is the forthcoming innokin tc device, which uses a proprietary atty connection.

To each their own.

I would assume it means end of September but I could be wrong. I'm not in dire need, although my setup is admittedly sorry and outdated. I use the MVP 2.0 with whatever tank it is that it shipped with when I'm at home, but this thing Gripper | Madvapes gets the most use b/c I can conceal it at work easily.

I actually bought an IPV 70w + Subtank mini for myself at one point, but then ended up giving it away to my brother as an early birthday gift. Then I bought my mom an MVP 3.0 w/ Subtank Mini for her birthday. I'm bringing everyone up-to-date except for myself!! haha

I probably would have just gotten that CoolFire except for now the whole temp control thing has me interested, and especially with the way Innoken is hyping this technology as a possible new standard. And unlike many people, I have nothing to lose since I have no significant investment in 510 threaded tanks/technology...

If it's going to be similar form/setup to the Disruptor as all signs seem to point to, I'm all for it. I have no significant investment in batteries and gladly would pay a few bucks more per battery to be able to grab a couple of fully enclosed batteries that I don't have to worry what they are making contact with, and not have to grab a battery charger every time I travel. I mean how many batteries do you really need? I've seen them talking about the new batteries being 3500 mah. Two batteries would be more than enough for me...

I fell hard for TC and went on a gear buying spree, getting most of the most recent mods to compare.

In a nutshell, I'd rate the D2 ahead of the TC40, but just by a hair. I haven't had any problems with the TC40 at all and actually was very impressed with how well it controlled for the $26 it cost.

I was a Sigelei fan, but to be honest I'm on my third one. The first two were replaced under warranty and it was pretty painless other than the time involved shipping mods back and forth. I wasn't wild about the $8 fee but it wasn't worth throwing a mod in the trash over. Since I got the third one and had good results, I bought another one from ecig.com as a backup. It's working fine also.

I realize you were asking about less expensive boxes but nothing I've tried works even 50% as well as a SX Mini. Yes, it's pricy compared to the others mentioned but it is absolutely worth every penny.
