Hey guys & gals, I seen a thread for this before, but it was a gazillion pages long, and people were holding conversations throughout the thread, and took such a long time to find any recipes.

So after lots of researching; I found a couple recipes for the TFA flavors that I ordered.

I let them steep & I let them "streathe" for 1-2 weeks. There was one recipe called "orange dream". It was:

7% Orange Cream TFA
7% French Vanilla TFA

I thought this would be great like a creamy orange dreamsicle. Fail.

It tasted like my grandmothers perfume (not that I would know what that tastes like :O ) anywho, I am striking out in the TFA diy department.

I have a few creations brewing at the moment. Oh and I have a grape candy that smells like stinky socks? Yuck!

I am in serious need of a change of flavor, and I have vapors tongue from my current ADV. Any recipe or link to some good recipes would be awesome.

Here are the flavors that I ordered:

Bavarian Cream
Blueberry Extra
Bubblegum
Caramel Candy
Caramel Original
Cheesecake
Cantaloupe
Cinnamon Danish
Circus Cotton Candy
Double Choc Clear
Ethyl Maltol 10%
French Van Regular
Graham Cracker Clear
Grape Candy
Gummy Candy
Honeysuckle
Juicy Peach
Kiwi Double
Lemon
Marshmallow
Orange Cream
Peanut Butter
Pistachio Clear
Ripe Banana
RY4 Double
Strawberry Ripe
Toasted Almond
Toasted Marshmallow
Watermelon
White Chocolate

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your Orange Cream TFA percentage looks close.

Try the following to make Orange Cream TFA work; make up several 3ml or so bottles of the orange cream say 5: 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%

Test each at say 5 day intervals. This will allow you to determine if that flavor alone at any reasonable percentage is working for you.

The orange note on TFA's Orange Cream is a bit subtle after a long steep especially if you add vanilla or other creams to it.

A small percentage of orange mandarin flavor can help bring the orange flavor more forward if you feel the need.

I prefer Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA for a good creamsicle.

Not really a recipe, but cinnamon danish is fantastic on it's own at 10%,it needs to steep, but i do the hot water bath, then let it sit overnight and it's good, and continues to get better each day.I also use it to make 10% cinnamon danish,3% bavarian cream, and 1% sweetener, this makes it more like a cinnamon bun type flavor, another member here makes it similar but instead of the sweetener he uses 10% em in it,either way it's a good flavor stand alone or mixed.

TFA French Vanilla gets nasty over 3% IMO.

One of my Orange Dream recipes was...

TFA Orange Cream 10-12% (FW Orange Dream Bar works here too)
TFA Vanilla Swirl 3% (or French Vanilla)
TFA Sweet Cream 2%
TFA Marshmallow 1% (optional)

Best after a few days to a week.
The Orange will fade if left to sit for 3+ weeks.

Note: You can sub out the Orange with Blueberry, or just about any fruit.
And, yes, Vanilla Bean might work good instead of the other Vanillas.

12% Juicy Peach, 1% Bavarian Cream.
That one sounds good,i have tried a few times to get a good peaches and cream with the juicy peach, but never tried bavarian cream,i think i tried vanilla swirl, and then some other cream, and wasn't happy with the results,so next try will be with the bavarian.

I personally love RWhy4 10% Ry4 double 5% Bavarian Cream and 5% caramel candy

I agree, that recipe is really good.I went through so much of it though, that now i am burnt out on it,so i had to stop with it for a while, but definitely worth a try for anyone who likes ry4 type flavors

Thanks, I think em tastes like the cotton candy a little to me. I am not sure i would use that as a sweetener on the cinnamon, which I did try at 15% and it was powerful, I am going to try and dilute it down to 10. Also it took forever to get the flavor out of my atty.

That was 1 of the recipes I found, and made. Maybe it needs more steeping time, but after 2 weeks, it was a very strong pipe tobacco taste, and very little creamy taste, it wasn't too bad, I am just not a fan of pipe tobaccos. I have heard everyone raving about the ry4 double, so I had to try it. Maybe I just need to let it steep more. Thanks for the comment!

12% Juicy Peach, 1% Bavarian Cream.

This was one of the ones I was afraid to try since I did not see that it contained triacetin before ordering. I have heard so many great things about the juicy peach though. I just can't seem to get past the triacetin. Thank you!

Not sure you would want to try this one, however it is very good.

10% TFA Mint Candy
5% TFA French Vanilla Deluxe (This flavor contains 'custard' ingredients: Acetoin (not a Diketone) & Acetylpropionyl)
0.75% TFA Double Chocolate Dark
4% of the following mixture (one (1) part Acetyl Pyrazine 5% PG with fifteen (15) parts PG)

This one is at least as good as a $0.92 a ml juice that is rather popular.

Yeah,i haven't tried it with the em,i use 1% ez sweetz when i make that one.I have never mixed the cinnamon danish at more than 10%,but yeah i imagine it would be pretty potent at 15%,it's just a bit strong at 10,but not overpowering, which i like my juice a bit on the strong flavor side.As for getting the flavor out,i'm not sure,i use it in my fogger, and that's the only flavor i've used in it since i got that tank,it's just to good to want to change it in that one haha.

Sounds interesting, I just don't understand the Pyrazine mix part, or what the flavor is supposed to taste like? But I will order those flavors and give it a shot. I have had the best luck with mixing these 2 recipes so far:

TFA flavors: bavarian cream, caramel candy, double chocolate / peanut butter & ripe banana.

Peanut Butter 7%
Ripe Banana 3%

I was skeptical about the custard notes with peanut butter, but after trying it, I am willing to take the risk, it tastes great.

The other recipe I found, and just had success with is:

15% double chocolate
9% Caramel Candy
6% Bavarian Cream

It's a very smooth & creamy blend. I cannot really taste any chocolate, but It's a keeper :)

I would scale both of those a strong 8/10

haha, I would highly recommend a very thorough cleaning with the cinnamon danish when the time comes. I used it on my rda, and a simple toothbrush & soap bath wasn't strong enough to get out the flavor. where do you get the ez sweetz btw?

The AP helps complete the chocolate along with the vanilla, the flavor is like a soft chocolate mint, predominantly mint, with a very smooth light chocolate finish.

If you want a more forward chocolate increase the chocolate and AP a little. To define a little, chocolate could go to 1%-1.25% and the AP dilution could go to 5.3%-6.6%, I don't think going higher than these suggestions would make it much better but have at it.

In this recipe there is so little AP used it is easier to use a diluted version which brings the measured quantity up to something very easy to get correct. You don't want to over do AP or you'll get this crazy corn chip like flavor.

I'm actually pretty proud of this mix. I'm not going to call it a clone, but its close to Five Pawns Bowden's Mate. I wasn't trying for that, but couldn't be more pleased with the result.

I should add that I make this at 50:50 PG/VG.

Right on, that sounds great. I have never tried five pawns before. But just did a bit of research, and seems to have some great reviews. I have a bunch of mixes and tweaks I am working on at the moment. If any turn out to be a premium quality, I will definitely share. You've been a great help, thanks bud :)

The best peanut butter I've found so far isn't peanut butter at all.

Depending on your recipe, go for a mix of hazelnut, caramel and AP.

Interesting, yes the tfa peanut butter is a bit dry, and I have heard of people mixing TFA & CAP to get a less dry peanut butter flavor (which would be my only complaint about tfa). I will definitely give that a try next order
