Just a couple things I noticed reading through some articles about making cigarette e juice.
Black liquorice and anise come up.
Graham cracker, caramel and toffee come up.
Ethyl Maltol, cotton candy, and sweet cream come up.
Cocoa, chocolate, and vanilla come up.
All these and more are added to a Tobacco Base and/or other Tobacco flavors to create or simulate the flavor of tobacco in Cigarettes.
It is interesting when you start reading up on how they make the tobacco and what they add to it for flavoring.
I think ammonia ( the after taste maybe ) is one of those flavors that is "missing" and maybe that burnt after taste of the paper and tobacco.
The SECRET and SOUL of Marlboro
Right now I am in the process of figuring out how I want to attempt making my own tobacco e juice.
I tried RY4D and its just flavored caramel tasting basically not tobacco at all as far as I can tell it tastes good like sweet candy, but that's not what I want!!
I saw they do have an ashtray juice that might be of some interest to me as a flavor to add in a very small amount.
Read through these lists of ingredients they use in cigarettes:
