The Ammit looks nice. I use the Kanger Toptank mini with rba single coil builds. Have been looking at twisted wire but have not tried yet.
It's real easy to make twisted wire, even without a drill. I use a large coffee cup and pliers.
Increased surface area, less ramp up time. Wick em tight to cut down popping and spitting. I rarely build clapton coils but have a spool of twisted fused clapton wire from Demon Killer, don't care for it compared to mixed twisted coils.
Right now I'm using dual coils with a 26 round, 28 round, and a flat wire, twisted pretty tight. Next coils I build will be a 25g round and one flat wire twisted...

I'm a fan of twisted wire, too. It's an easy and inexpensive way to increase surface area without adding so much mass that ramp up doesn't suffer.

The Kanger RBA is a nice little thing. You don't have much space to work in, so twisted 28awg or 30awg is nice. So is a thin wire Clapton like 26/36. Flavor rocks.

I couldn't say, it's really going to depend on your preferences and what wattage/temp/resistance you enjoy vaping at. I've pretty much stuck to single round wire builds, but I have actually ordered a set of exotic coils kit because I am interested in seeing some of the differences. It wouldn't surprise me if I went back to single round wires, but I am a MTL vaper, and tend to prefer a cool vape.

If you have a drop in coil you enjoy I'd probably maybe start with a build of similar resistance, to see how you like it (it seems a reasonable place to start) although yes, depending on your exotic wires, you may find a different vaping experience as mass, not just resistance, will determine surface area, flavor to an extent, and wattage needs. Etc.

Good luck, and really, just STARTING is a great place to begin. Whatever you choose will give you information on what you enjoy/don't enjoy and etc.

Have fun, most of all!

Anna
