Common rule of thumb, ohms + 2 volts (which will get you in the neighborhood of 8 watts) and adjust up or down from there to taste.

I'm finding that to be an accurate rule of thumb...dialing up or down from there seems to be dependent on the particular juice you're vaping at the time...

So I safely say as long as I always hit the second highest watts under the green zone for the indicated ohm, it would give me the best flavor and throat hit?

That's a good place to start, but the "sweet spot" depends on the delivery device, the juice, and your taste buds. There are no hard and fast rules for it.

Red_bird, that I truly agree.

gthompson, I saw this - https://store-549f5.mybigcommerce.com/product_images/uploaded_images/voltagechart-lg.jpg

so 2.5ohm will hit its best at 4.5v but remain one spot clear of the red zone?

Damn u guys rock!

Using my Vamo with a Protank at 2.5 ohm, I find that a range of 4.2 to 4.8 volts works well depending on which juice in my rotation is in the tank at the time...some taste better at higher, some better at lower, while others taste burnt if I go to the top of that range. 4.5 volt seems to be a good place to start at 2.5 ohms and then just dial it in to taste...

I'm currently using ego c upgrade 650mAh when i am outside. Regulated voltage 3.3v and coupled with 2.2ohm, it taste like ..... When i switch to unregulated and fully charged at 4.2v, its slightly better.

At home I use iTaste VV and set to 3.7v with 2ohm, still not bad. But your current advice, as i speak, i switched to 4v and oh my, it rocks! Haha!

So far iTaste gives me the same reading regardless of battery life. I wonder if it is real. I'm looking to using my iTaste indoors and getting ego twist for outdoors. And coupled up with kanger t3 or evod.

I would love the spinner and provari. However where I am I don't think it will be shipped over. Damn. Provari rocks from the reviews I saw.

That might be on that particular device depending on how much power it's actually sending to the atty.

TasteYourJuice.com

Great place to get the numbers for a lot of devices. Plus Phil rocks.

I really like Phil's reviews as well....I decided on the Vamo after watching his review of it. He was spot on...

I buy my juice, no interest in DIY at all.

Same here....my buddy started DIY a couple months ago. Some of the concoctions he came up aren't too bad. Perhaps one day down the road, as I gain some more knowledge of the process involved I might try it, but for now, I just don't' have the time or inclination.
