If money is no issue, then I would say the variable watt Darwin, if you can find one. Excellent build quality, doubles as a pass-through and has the best warranty of any PV on the market (standard) at 2 years.

Just what I want to do is send my Darwin back to the manufacturer every year for a new battery, for $25.

The best is the sigelei zmax bar none. It is the best built PV and it isn't even close. The menu, screen, power regulation, button, looks, and durability beat the rest by a mile. sigelei makes the best vaporizers from their mechanicals to their variable power mods they are on the cutting edge of the vaporizing world.

Yea, right. That is why all the #20s are being pulled because the power buttons are sticking and the device goes into overload. V2 is already out.
The #19 is having problems. 19B is on the way.
the #8 is having button problems too.

When you make a mech clone, you need to make sure it works right, before you send them out.

I have a Zmax flatop, and it works well. I have a Provari. The threads on the body are better machined, the fit is tighter, the threads on the 510 connection have closer tolerances, and the button works better.

That being said, the slots on the 510 connection, are too narrow on the 510 connection on the Provari, and make the draw too tight on some toppers.

I got the vamo 3 from fast teck with nitecore charger 2 pani's from fast teck SS $58

You know what I was new and got to say It was the best buy for the situation
There is not a better buy dollar for dollar when looking for an inexpensive way to get your feet wet

I would not waste my time on a $70 or $80 device as a midway point
Now that I know what I like and Im in it for the long haul I am going to get a provari probably dec
with full warranty In itself is worth it all these others If it goes its gone
even with a lot of US venders 1 month then your on your own
That was the main reason I chose to get the vamo cheaper from china

but long term I don't think there's a better buy then the provari

To be honest what weighed heavily on my decision to get the Vamo was the menu system, the ZMAX and Provari are universally acclaimed devices and offer pretty fantastic build quality but making timed rapid presses on a single button seems arduous to me. The biggest complaint I hear about the Vamo is the modulated output, there are scores of differing opinions on this but in reality, I get huge clouds of vapor from almost anything I throw at it.

I've got exactly this combo. Except I'm using 18650 batteries. I really do not mind the extra size.
My eVic head just looks a little different. It is also the more basic head, but more round. So no Display, or vw. only vv with the same modes as the small joyetech ego battery. I think 3.7v, and 4.2v or something like that? Must Say, I dont use the eVic that much. I prever the svd by far! svd, with protank 2. Next mission will be to try and get a genesis style atty. Hellfire Mega will be nice, but cannot seem to find them anywhere. The only thing I know is they are made by a modder named Dan.

I can imagine you are using svd more often, cause you dont have genesis atty yet. :) I do have cobra for 10 eur (fasttech.com) at 1.7 ohms and its good at constant 3.3V (other mode is 4.2 down to 3.6V) so my svd is resting for the past 2 days. :) Hellfire looks great, but for that kind of price (about 100 eur) i dont think its a good deal. IMO RSST genesis atty (fasttech.com) is the best genesis under 20 eur and really easy to setup and will look great on easy head (23mm) and svd (22mm), rsst has 22mm diameter.

I had a look at the RSST, but I've seen some bad reviews. THat is the only reason I have not ordered one yet. Have you used the RSST yet? How is it?

This is my kit. Look at that head on the eVic. It is exactly the same width as the protank 1.

:) You dont have easy head but a king kong mod. Only difference is in the looks and micro usb slot.I ordered easy head because of charging possibility through usb.

Protank is made for that mod :D

I ordered rsst 10 days ago and still waiting (few more days :) ) and i read also about some problems with rsst, but i think that was the fault of inexperienced users. I am using cobra, which is archaic compared to rsst, but i can get it to work just great. Clean taste and enough of vapor. I always setup my battery for appropriate resistance of an atomizer.

I am still looking and am baffled. Currently, I have two:

I have two ego twists: While they do provide a good vape, the volume seems to decline rapidly as the battery loses juice. I got the 1000mah and it does last a good amount of time. I hate not going without so, i always have one on the charger and one on me. One of them died today, so I am not looking to move on to something else. I do very much like the variable voltage. Different flavors and different ohm cartomizers taste better at different levels and I like being able to dial it into the specific hardware and or eliquid.

I have the original Bombshell (HotVapes): I purchased this before I knew anything about vaping. I do like it quite a bit, but it is not variable voltage (The new bombshell stinger is with a kick). Because I knew nothing about vaping, I went ahead and ordered the 6v option. With the dual 1.5ohm cartomizer and a tank on it, it puts out great vape. I do like it quite a bit, but wish there was a little control. I was thinking about going back and ordering the bombshell stinger with a kick, but I figured I would do a little research first to see what is out there. I also bought the 18650 battery for 3.7v vaping, but just did this and have not really matched it with a suitable cartomizer for it to really work well. I will likely order some today. I will say that Jeff that works there is excellent and has been very helpful.

low-end: Vamo or iTaste.

high-end: Provari or WE DNA20 - absolutely the best there is!, making anything else seem like a toy.

as far as all of these Provari posts, no way; single button for all of those functions & $240 to have a full options kit? LOL.

my choice is eVic all the way:

eVic is like the iPhone of MODs. lavatube is great, but subpar to the eVic in features, & more like a higher end Vamo.

eVic features are not useless if you know how to use them . . . like knowing how many puffs your BCC or Cartotank will last you when out for the day

or how many puffs a given battery will last.

its warning of a nicotine headache set to the programs you create - which is certain to happen unlike a cigarette

how you can layer graphs online to see your habits in vaping (i.e. compare being @ a party vaping as to home use or when around non-vapers, etc.)

it also helps you learn/ understand volts as compared to watts much better than any device out there

looks maturely exotic to non-vapers & always brings conversation

quality in looks

has countless upgrade body options instead of being stuck with just one - comes in very handy when getting scratched up & knowing you're only $11 away from an entirely new body

helps to not have to buy a battery charger as it can charge in its own casing & saves you money

you can use it as a pass thru device while driving without wearing out your battery

sheit, I can go on forever.

even over the Provari, I choose eVic without hesitation as it doesn't even offer all of these electronic options, can't be used as a pass-thru, need to buy batteries separate, ALL SINGLE BUTTON ACTIVATION when scrolling through menus, & is over 3x's the price because there was nothing like it when originally developed.

I own a few mods, vamo, provari, innokin, the one I keep using all the time is innokin svd, it has vw, which the provari does now, I like using watts, it's the best output IMO, I do hope provari adds this to future upgrades, then the provari will be in my hand 24/7, I still think the innokin looks better, but it's not all about looks, the provari proforms great, but so does the svd, it's not lacking and smokes as good as the provari, inokin products are built great too, the innokin 134 is just outstanding, just picked one up, looks great and can be used as a weapon if need be lol, innokin would be my rec, u won't need anymore device than an svd, it is stellar
