Best way to clean my Double Nickle

I need to clean my Double Nickle Mini. The door is starting to tarnish a bit. What can I use to remove the tarnish, but keep the matte Nickle finish?

Nickle shouldnt tarnish. Can you post a pic?

I had a nickle GGTB that tarnished...a LOT. I used Goddards silver and brass cleaner...got it at the grocery store. It worked like a charm. I've seen others use some paste-like stuff called "Mother's" something.... I'm thinking any silver polish would work, but wait to hear from a few others.

Walmart sells mothers in a small jar, it should work. I use it on aluminum on my boat.

I'd stay away from using mothers on anything coated.

This should work pretty good. Cheap and can be found at Ace hardware and probably home depot and lowes.

Thanks for all the replies.

Nickel is a "living" finish, like Silver. It will tarnish. I cleaned it with Wright's Silver Cream, which is very gentle. Mother's will polish the Nickel, not just clean it. If the Nickel is polished, it will get to the point where it will be completely shiny, and that is not what I was after.

The Wright's did an excellent job. It looks as good as the day I got it, if not better. The Double Nickel gets babied, so it was just a matter of getting the tarnish off.

I have a nickel GGTS and most people recommend the Cape Cod polishing wipes!
