hey friends,

It seems that since I got a couple of plume veils, all my other attys have been collecting dust. Nothing else seems to match the airflow and flavour.

I miss looking forward to getting a new atty in the mail :), but I can't be bothered unless it's at least as good as the plume veil.

What RDAs should I be looking at?

You know I have my plume veil but I still like my doge v2. Then again I am using regulated box mods. So for me they both preform about the same. I just switch them back and forth.

I never liked my plume veil, really leaky and no improvements over my other rdas...
so it's hard to recomend as everyone is different.
the only thing I like about the plume is the positive post

Same. Most overrated RDA of the last two years. I too thought it was amazing first week... Then realized... This thing is a leaky pig with no more flavor than a freakin Patriot.

Pick up a Samurai Bonsai.

I really hate the side airflow, doesn't add anything and just makes the juice well virtually non existent, I dabbed a toothpick and it helped a bit but I still prefer any other dripper.
for me the best is the rogue, great flavor, great vapor, great airflow (not really adjustable), decent capacity and leak free

if you're getting leaks with the Plum Veil it could be your wicking. Make sure you didn't stuff too much in there so the juice has a chance to be absorbed. My Plum Veil never leaks.

IMO my Plum Veil so far for me has been very good on flavor, much better than my El Cabron. My El Cabron is just collecting dust.

I'm actually wanting to sell my El Cabron if anyone is interested in buying it.

I had a better experience with an IGO-L than the Plume LOL

a lot of it comes down to the build. I've got a clone of the Plum Veil, it's been working very well. I had to replace the o-ring but so far it's great.

I am looking at my next RDA though, and so far only ones that are really catching my attention is the Aeolus (waiting to see the v2) or the Tug Boat v2 (I'll probably get a tug boat).

The best beginner basic rda's Are, Tugboat, Plume veil, Mutation v3, Great thing about Indulgence is that the authentics are good price. And quality! I LOVE my Tugboat clone. Probably my most used rda. It's all about a top caps for dripping. If its too tight i tend to go to the looser models. They loosen up over time. hehe. :)

With that super massive coil build, I'm curious, how long do your batteries last considering you probably have to push over 100w to ramp-up those things?

Not very long at all. My 2100mah batteries usually last me about 3 hours, and the reason for that long is the atty gets really hot after 3-4 hits you have to pause for a few min to let the atty/mod cool down, so chain vaping with this setup is not practical.

i ordered me one of those fancy shmancy Revolt RDA's from hazematic. Looked clean, the logo wasnt hideous, 316 ss, grub screws, tons of peek, tons of spares. I was like oh another RDA like the last, but then I noticed the big postholes as well. Basically everything I was looking for in an RDA, form factor - functionality and no gaudy hideous looking design. we will see how she vapes next wednesday when she is delivered.

Hahaha me too! Hell my 2+ year old IGO-L (drilled to a 3mm hole) still sees regular use and has MUCH better flavor than my Plume Veil did! It's funny that that tiny little 20mm RDA (with a drilled out cap) is better than 95% of the gimmick ridden RDAs currently being produced.
