Got a new pet

The wife came home the other day & this beauty was in the back yard.

There were 2 nesting pair in the area. 1 of the males recently died. Don't know if this is a new suitor, or one that's been around. I've seen one before a mile down the road, first time that close though. Hope he does hang around. There'd be less chipmunks diggin up the flower beds.

I made a wrong decision and messed up the bottom edge. I should have coated the bottom, the fix was to spray the bottom to strengthen the edge. A bit disappointed as I had to deliberately create a rim to strengthen the bottom edge.

Oh well there's always the acetone bath.............
