kids know he is coming by a series of little honks as they drive

Interesting trivia bit, my platoon number from 3rd BN at Paris Island in 1990 is the same as in the movie.
Santa must have a few more friends in high places here, because last week he had the sheriff precede him with lights and sirens blaring. i thought there'd been a major incident until i realised the sound was moving too slow.
The kids liked it though.
