I love the shaft driven rides,
Had a moto guzzi v11, was one sweet experience.
I'm gonna drop my CC in its little black sunglass bag, drop it in the front pocket of my murse, and go hop on my sporty to work.
Good morning world!

(Battery will stay right in place)

Was that a shaft drive like my old Guzzi 800 I used to have? Can you say....... torque steer? The Guzzi was affectionately nicknamed "The Jackhammer" for what it felt like I had been riding after 3 states. Had a Kaw which went by "The Buzzsaw". The 900 BMW however was "The Easy Chair".

For the folks who are like me, and have a tendency to dump the mod into a bag or pouch, how do y'all deal with the no-lock? Do y'all just remove the battery to be safe?

One does not dump a Classic, one carefully places a Classic :D

It's a respect thing ;)

I carry mine in a pocket and have had no issues at all with inadvertent firing.

Not like the shaft drive on your 800 or kawi (I've rode that kango kawi), the linkage was designed to eliminate the "kangaroo effect" and really worked, no jack loading:). It was as smooth as a BMW I've ridden, now tourqe steering, that was altogether something entirely different than any other machine I've had :D it was part of the cool factor with gooses, the sound was one of the best.
Mine was a cir. 2000.
Traded that bike for a 2002 1200 sporty from a guy that my now deceased baby brother had sold him a few years ago. It was my bro's first bike and although an inferior machine, it is very much sentimental given the present reality of no chance to make new memories.
That sportster was also my mom's first bike and several of our riding buddies. My brother sold it to my Mom to get her into riding with the understanding that when she was ready for an upgrade he'd buy it back.
He did this with several people, so I felt the need to honor that when I heard it was up for sale. Still makes me happy to get it back for him. I didn't have the cash and lucked up that the guy wasn't stuck on American iron.
Italian iron is soul inspired.

Corey your mod is soul inspired, I hope I can become its friend
