Quick update......

The mods are all deburred, inside and out. Negative contacts have now been installed. I got the rest of the small parts made, that I wasn't able to get to Sunday night. Well, except for the bottle and tube assemblies... There's 12 of them to do this time around... And, the peek insulators have been installed on the metal buttons....

Next step is to install all the parts in the mods, so I can hand fit the contacts, test fire, and make any adjustments that need to be made. Then I can break 'em back down and begin the finish work.

In other words,....they're coming along nicely.

We are on track to have these 4 completed over the weekend, so I can ship on Monday morning.

Hey, Peng! Since Rudy's not around this evening,...I'll quote his post from a few days ago....

These are new bottles that are about to be released, that are the same size as the Vapage 9ml bottles, only they are supposed to be better for our purposes, and have a stainless steel cap...

Here we go, now that things have settled down a little bit I would like to share this epic achievement.

The new 8.5ml bottles address the need for all squonkers to have a softer and bigger juice reservoir.

Together with my good friend Ruben Cattivelli, we decided to provide the ultimate bottle, conceived and designed for Bottom Feeding, rather than adapted to it.

9ml bottles do exist, and they are compatible with some devices, but unfortunately they were not "born" for squonking and bottom feeding, as they are prone to breaking being heat welded.

The first issue we addressed was to produce a super soft bottle, compatible with all BF devices, a bigger bottle sealed with no o-ring. This bottle should not be heat welded, but blown from the native mold.

We run into many obstacles, the biggest being the sealing of the cup with no o-ring, but Ruben has been top notch to include a flare in the bottle threads that serves like an o-ring; the final result was astonishing, with absolutely zero leaking even in the most extreme conditions.

The higher expense we incurred in producing this bottles was obviously the mold, we could not afford to fail (people familiar with molds production will know for sure how much does it cost to produce one) alas we would be forced to abort the project.

Ruben deserves all my appreciation for being able to follow my guidelines, and patient enough to support and tolerate me.

I may never be able to recover this insane expenditure (although I hope I would eheheh) but the desire to contribute to this crazy squonking world was way too big.

So here we are ladies & gents, all the tests are over, production is on-going and we should be ready in 10 days approx.

Seriously though,...If these are the real deal,....and they look like they may very well be,.... I wouldn't be opposed to making a bulk purchase. High end bottle, for a high end mod,....just seems right.

I am, however,....sittin' on 220 vapage bottles, at the moment....

Vapage bottle included in package as spare... like a cheap spare tire to get you through until you can get a real one.

So, an update on those bottles. I got a message back from supplier. They will be available starting 10/31/15. He is offering discounts on quantities. They are pricey @ 5.99 euro = $6.71 each! Compared to $2.99 for 2pack Vapage bottle.

The new bottle is designed for the bf. we are very proud of the final result. many groups facebook ( uk squonker. Squonker . Squonker paradise) and other international forum are organizing to make a buying group. discounts listed on the site are for sale to wholesalers. However, in this initial phase the discount applies also for the groups. vapage bottle is a heat-sealed bottle and prone to rupture and leak. our bottle does not lose a drop for a study on the thread. the steel cap 304 does not have O-rings. the thread does not need it. we did tests two months before putting them on the market. our reputation does not allow us to make mistakes. the plastic is of food grade certificate.

It'll be interesting to see what the lifespan of these new bottles is.... Stainless steel, threading on and off of, "super soft" plastic...
Hopefully they're not easily cross threaded...
Hoping for the best, though...

With my builds, and tendency to chain vape, by the time I drain a 6ml bottle, it's time for a fresh battery anyway. But, I'm still interested in trying these new bottles.

Good Morning Sports Fans!
Bottle update.
* Antonio sent me a video last night but asked me not to post as it is supposedly confidential. It showed the new bottle and cap with impressive demonstration. bottle had NO seam, very pliable body. Bottle opening large like the standard 6ml bottle we are used to, easier to fill than small Vapage top opening. metal flat top pre drilled cap nice quality and he threaded bottle in very easily. He then did a demo plugging the feed tube at the end, filling the bottle with juice, screwing on the cap and SQUEEZED the heck out of it, absolutely ZERO leaking! Very impressive! Bottle soft but not weak. He then took a rubber mallet and banged the bottle with it on top of a table again full of juice and plugged end of tube. No splitting of bottle or leaking of juice!!
Long story short, these bottles look like the real deal!!!
I have no doubt that these would be a definite upgrade to what we are using now.
I wish I could show the video as it is very convincing! But I promised.
Peng,not too familiar Sunbox bottle but I believe they have a plastic cap, these are metal caps.

So as it stands now, he will have them available starting 10/31/15.
Just not sure if I should just order 50 or so and send a few to those who want to try then order on their own or if we should organize a group buy for the discount. It seams to me that there is enough interest here to be able to unload a bunch easily and take advantage of the discount!

That sounds really impressive! A group buy would definitely bring the price point down to a better level. I will really be excited for an almost indestructible bottle.

Be careful not to run afoul of ECF rules. I'm pretty sure the only acceptable way to do a "group buy" here is as a CoOp.
