Also,....I'd just like to say that I still have not had any problems with the current bottles, in my personal mods... One has the 6ml, and the other has the 9ml... I squonk the peace out of 'em daily, and they both work great...

However,....the prospect of a softer bottle, with 8.5ml capacity, with a bigger mouth and stainless cap,... very exciting... :thumb:
Yes

I prefer a bigger mouth that can take a squeezin' to deposit my juice. Especially if it had staying power...

Needs more blue in those bulbs imo.

I see pink and yellow in the light on the paper.

SeanMoore got me fixed up, on that deal... Plus, I've got four lamps with 5500k bulbs, coming in tomorrow... We's gettin' serious now... :D

Yeah, I saw that. Had already posted so left it there.

Though if you look closely at the later pics you'll still see pink around the subject matter and green (yellow) around the perimeter.

The extra light should drown some of that out.

I personally like 6500K GE bulbs.

Though I'm no photographer and haven't taken a semi - serious photo in a looooong time.

CC two questions. They might seem dumb but, I'm going off only the photos on the first page.

Is the button itself spring loaded or just uses the flex of the positive pin?

Is there an insert in the battery compartment? What keeps the battery from sliding around I guess is what I'm asking?

Thanks

Just the flex of the positive contact. Makes for a buttery smooth button press...

I will borrow E77's pic, because it shows clearly the button and positive contact...

He does have an o-ring installed, between the button flange, and the cap, to shorten his button throw...

Here we see the o-ring that's used to keep the battery from moving around in there...

Credit to Peter, for that idea.... :)

Just let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks, buddy! :thumb:

I'll add this...there isn't a lot of play in the battery tube for a battery to 'slide around'. When I drop a battery in, it slowly 'glides' into place...it's very satisfying to watch, actually:D

Like a perfectly machined piston, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that :)

I've put a battery in, and said, "damn, that's nice", taken the battery back out and said "do it again, do it again"!!

Thank you.
I'm sold. Sign me up for an aluminum....

Is there enough space between the button flange and battery compartment on the body for maybe some kind of spongey or rubberized piece attached to the top piece around the button flange that would extend down and press against the battery keeping it place? Sorry just an idea....
