Not likely....

Would be awesome though... :)

I need to hire a professional photographer, apparently....

I don't think you need to hire a professional photographer. I think the recent pics look much better than last weeks pics. But then again, the mods look better each week, too. There might be a correlation. Or not :D

Peng, when I saw you posted, I thought you were gonna jump to my defense, with the merciless taunting being exacted by our host, wantonly displaying lustful images of of a certain candy that is unobtainable by me at this very moment.

Common girl, hep a guy out here :?:

HH357... :D
I use it as a handle whilst I'm assembling... I don't like to touch the mods anymore than is absolutely necessary, once I've put the finish on 'em... ;)
OK folks, you heard it here first. We're not supposed to touch our mods lest we mess up the finish. So in order to be in compliance with CC's new regulations, I will order a box of these from Amazon (they're cheap).

Just kidding. What I will do in reality is knock the brushed finish down just a bit with Simichrome, give it a couple of coats of Renaissance wax, and then I will vape it bareback -- like I stole it! :w00t:

Can't wait till ya get that big order of bottles... I really hate the vapage bottles. They are the only thing I don't love about my mod.
I don't like the vapage bottles either, that narrow opening makes it a batch to fill. I'm using the reo style bottles until corey gets the new bottles

I've had no issues filling the Vapage bottles. The eye droppers that most juice come with work fine for me. Yea you've got to be a little more precise but really not a problem. Really want easy then a syringe with a 14ga works well:thumb:

Your new lights are definitely blowing your camera's chip away, that's why it's all fuzzed out. Now that you have MOAR LITE you can pull them back from the subject until you have satisfactory results.

Don't forget to go back and reset the white balance. Be sure you're in macro mode. Always clean the lens.

Oh, but a $250-$300 camera does go a long ways... you don't need a "real" DSLR to get good macro shots. I don't think it would be worth it if these mods are the only thing you're photographing but if you want good photos of other things the "advanced point and shoot" camera might be. Honestly, iphone/nexus5 does our family fine for the snapshots we take for memories, I never even carry a camera anymore.

Yea I'm sure that would work but I'm lazy and don't want to buy syringes or drippers . I only use juice that comes in 240 ml plastic bottles with a screw tapered top. The tip fits fine in a reo style bottle but not the vapage style.

I'm not sure what a vapage bottle is like but I even fill my reo mini bottle (only a tiny bit bigger opening than the tube) with my twist-top 120ml bottles. It's all about aim, I don't try to put the nozzle in the bottle, I hold it over and let a stream of liquid flow from about a half-inch above the bottle. It's only occasionally messy and I can get it in the insanely small mini bottle.

I said it before but it always gets buried in this thread in no time...

For my vapage bottles

You can buy bottles with a luer lock syringe cap. You just buy that and a set of 14g blunt tip luer needles.

Boom, easy peasy... And I vape all VG thick stuff and with my 60ml bottles w/ luer lock needles it fills vapage bottles in 2 seconds.

You can also get 120ml luer lock bottles. I like em.

Guess it won't matter soon anyway with Corey's new awesomely high class bottles!

Where'd you acquire the gorgeous DT?

My mate in Kokstad (South Africa) makes them for me. He is a Jewelry Maker by trade but is a squonker too... his name is Jacques and he is on ECF @graver
