Good hijack! :D

The fuse mod is great for the Reo. Mundy came up with a great solution. It's the one I used...

One thing, though,....I never used more than a 10A fuse in there. If one were going to use a bigger fuse than that, they should do some testing with it. Ya know,...to make sure that it will blow in time time, to give you the protection you're wanting...

Peter did some testing, as well as others....and the 10A fuse came out as the preferred one,...at the time... :)

Meh, not a single bottom feeder supplier was not one day a Reonaut. All the greats cc, pdib, gdeal, CH, and great minds like mundy and turbo. Heck even Rossum resisted but finally gave in (I'm sure he's not using it now though bit who cares he caved :D)

Bob im thinki g let cc send you a brassy Reo as a surprise instead of the cc, what do you say ...

I have a 10amp in my dibi. I don't understand how, but it runs my 0.25ohm coils okay.

There are graphs for fuses and how much time it will take it to blow. With the internal resistance of the mod plus initial battery sag, you are probably vaping at 15 amps. With quick pulls all what you are doing is increasing the fuse's resistance but not to the point of blow. When I test fuses I hard short. 10 amps fuse at 15 amps might need a minute to blow you never know.

The problem is your fuse is increasing your voltage drop in that case but would still protect u in a hard short.

They each have a little piece of card stock, in the battery hole, with the initials on 'em. :)

For reference though, in that pic, they are still in the positions they have always been in, from the beginning. ;)

Ok so Aal Aal Aal Bob57 and HS
