A quick check of stock reveals that we are down to 3 brass, and 6 copper....

And, with 11 of the 25, 7068 mods spoken for,....we have 14 of those still available.

Also,...it looks like I'll be having to make ALL the silver contacts for the 7068 mods, from scratch. There was a slight miscommunication, and all of them already have 8-32 threads in 'em...

It's actually a good thing,...just a little more work involved....

As mentioned before, there's just something about the feel of that 7068...

HRH finds there is no need for an o-ring between atty and mod. If you are after flavour, consider a simple Clapton build.

I'm just the coil-maker and provider of funds for HRH, but she runs a dual clapton 26/32 kanthal on an Atomic at 0.5Ω 2mm ID, brass CC.

how is the ramp up time on a 26/32 clapton built around .4 on one of these?
I am used to regulated

i now only run about 0.3Ω - i'm really not joking, i've run mech mods for ages. I've also see your coil builds and you're not shabby.

The way i see it - with a mech you have 2 ways to go, higher gauge wire - like twisted 28g say, or lower wire but fewer coils at which point it becomes self-defeating.

Can't think of a better person to share the treehouse with. Part of the reason the garage is full. I had to drag my table saws, routers, and even my big lathe out in the middle of the garage. Everything else just kinda sprung up out of nowhere.
