I used to do that too, once a year, whether it needed or not, usually in the spring.

I hadn't cut my hair at all in about 5 years, but it sure feels great! I was twirling my hair all the time - nervous habit. I'll keep it buzzed for the summer and then let it grow back, by then maybe I'll have lost the habit (was causing headaches)
