Nothing too exciting,... just some block sizing and corner rounding.

I'm thinkin' that'n 'll make a few......
While I've got you here,....... I just wanted to let everyone know that when I first started making these, they were bigger and beefier than they are now.
Should anyone want one that's a bit heftier than the ones I've been doing lately,.... just let me know. I'd be happy to make one for you. I just like the smaller, slimmer, sleeker ones a bit better, personally.
The old spec was 1.975" x .975" x 3.375"
The new spec is 1.750" x .900" x 3.340"
Doesn't sound like much difference,..... but they look and feel very different.
Also, I thought I'd mention the button press on these. I use a beryllium copper and silver contact. Very springy. It could be described as a medium to light press. Very similar to a square squonker that we all know and have a particular fondness for...

Ooh,... I almost forgot..... I finally got my Hastur bottom fed...
I'm liking it pretty well. You just have to make sure you don't accidentally block the slots with your lips when you hit it. No leaking whatsoever... All in all,... a great atty for the money. I'll be gettin' another from CH when he gets his done here in the next few days, most likely.

In brass, there should be no lack of heft even in the new, smaller spec.
I base this on my copper one. Copper and brass are very close in density (Cu ~8.9, brass ~8.6). Aluminum is MUCH lighter at ~2.7. I adore my copper one; I wouldn't trade it for anything, but if I were getting one of these as my "EDC", it would have to be aluminum (or titanium, density ~4.5, if I could talk CC into making it).

Man,... you ain't kiddin'.... If I remember right, that copper was 11.3 oz. nekkid...
That's compared to 3.8 oz. on a nekkid aluminum...Titanium???
I just don't have the mill for it. I 'bout burnt up the one i have just doin' that copper one for ya!
I am looking at getting a bigger mill though....
i have no idea how a mill works, but i don't mind the slimmer width, but could do with some height for my non-dexterous thumbs. Not sure if that is doable?
I love the weight of my brass one, it's so tiny in hand too - I wouldn't change anything with it

wow man you do a really nice job with these, good for you bro. the machining looks impeccable, the transitions from round to the flat sides are perfect and the whole thing flows really well, like you sanded each one forever after all the machining is done

What 510 you usin' in there? I assume it's an FDV, but which version?
these are the first BF ones he did . I don't really use any of the guts though, I make my own, I just use the needle, then I make my own peek insert and use silicone tube as a seal and spring. does he finally have a decent one?
