You may be right Aal, but as mentioned, I just don't like the idea of boring that extra hole to do so.

Exactly, do you remember those leaves that came with the Peko? I think their tail extends enough to reach the existing screw hole. Maybe.

Don't know that I like the idea of boring an extra hole in the bottom of my Reo's but I do know that removing the powder coating under the negative spring and reinstalling it with a coat of silver conductive grease certainly helped. Now that I'm looking at Corey's custom contacts, ( CCC's by CC... ) thinking I may just try coating and polishing a spring or two with a bit of this...

I did use one of my Reos and used a brass #6-32X1/2" flat head screw and two 6-32 brass nuts. Incredible how much difference it made to how well my Reo hits. I also did a Corey positive contact as well. I've never had a Reo to hit like this.

Trust me Beck.. with this attitude I won't be losing any sleep over what he thinks or what he respects. So let's get over this incident and move to more significant and enjoyable stuff and leave people to deal things out with their egos and illusions of greatness.
