Just gauging interest here........

Let's just say I were thinking of doing a dual/parallel 18650 squonker.........

Let's just say............

Initial concept renders..........

mAEnGLm.jpg

3D printed render.........

The 3D print is just to get a feel for it, in hand,....as well as to have something to try and work out the details on. Mainly,.....the bridge.....

I have an idea for the bridge, but haven't settled on it, yet...

They would, of course,....be metal, not plastic. ;)

It's surprisingly compact, and with the radius,...it feels very comfortable, in hand.

Of course, this brings up the whole, left hand/right hand thing...

Anyone interested? :?:

You had me at hello...:p

Damnit. How much are we looking at for those? Would be nice to not have to lug around spare batts

Way too early to tell on that, my flightless friend. :)

Still trying to sort the thing out...

Though,...I would be trying to keep the cost down around the "normal" range... :thumb:

Welcome, jneffekt!!!

I'll add you to the list, and we can sort out the details later. :thumb:

I would prefer no walls between the batteries and bottle. Just for that extra mm or two or size elimination.

Possible?

The wall between the bottle and the batteries is the only thing that's keeping juice leaks to only the bottle compartment. I'm not a fan of having to clean the negative contact.

Looks like another classic CC in the making!!.:thumb:
Personally 1 battery will last we all thru the whole 8 hour work day. Refill juice bottle and battery when I get home, then good to the wee hours of the morning. The juice bottle capacity to battery life is perfect for me at 1/1. So for me having twice the battery life but not twice the juice capacity would not really be an advantage as I would need to refill the juice bottle before replacing the battery which means I would need to carry extra juice. I have a little case I keep in the car with a bottle of juice and a battery in case of emergency or if I'm away from home for more than 12 hours. So for me the small compact size of the single CC is more important than battery life. Switching the battery every time I refill the bottle has been my standard routine. If the bottle capacity increase matched the battery life increase I could see the advantage in my case. I would imagine the extra battery capacity would be ideal for the super sub ohm dual coil users though.
Good luck with your new project Corey, I'm sure it will be another work of art!

My house came with a sink.

I double checked.

Problem solved.

Only normal contact maintenance needed.

I'm going to clean internal spills with water either way.

Also, there has to be a place for the magnets. The dividers have been reduced as much as possible, still leaving a minimum wall thickness around the magnets. The batteries are dang near touching, in all reality... :thumb:

Side walls could be made the extra thickness you're losing between compartments. Then you'd lose nothing and the magnets would still have a home.

But if you'd prefer it this way, then this way it is...

Rudy you do know that we go parallel to halve the resistance we usually use right? [emoji57] .

I would vape 0.15 instead of the usual 0.3 ohms without the extra sag and with the same run time.
