Been one heck of a wild ride...at about the 75 milemark rightnow...rides been extended to 90 (ice cream)

I added ice cream to the agenda today, too, But it only extended MY ride to "Aisle 9".

Ive been listening to so much corpse husband and other similar youtube channels, ive kinda got an itch...

Would be stories very loosely based on real events...just obviously gone haywire with, you know, demons and ghost children and stuff...

What a day,...it has been, at my place...



The Jeep's been soundin' like the battery's 'bout to give out, the last few times I've started it. It's the same battery that was in it when I bought it a few months ago. It's pretty old...

Please don't judge...



I swung by the parts house on my way home from "work" to let 'em put it on their tester. Sho'nuff,... weak cell...

192 bucks later, I left with a new battery.

Why can't they put the battery up front where it's easy to get to?

Once I got the old one out, I had to take a wire brush to the terminal clamps, and hardware. That took way longer than it should have... That had obviously never been done before on this thing. They were bad.

Got 'er all installed, and used my favorite contact grease on all metal to metal connections.

Yup, that's No-Ox-Id slathered all over everything.

She cranks over like new, now...

I just ran across this picher of what it looked like when I bought it...

'member when I posted it, and seanmoore made fun of my Rockstars....

I had been tryin' to decide on some new rims, and shortly after that, I slapped some Mickey Thompsons on it....

I still need to put some bumpers on it,...and a weench...


Just gotta find the time...


So anyways,...all is well.....time to get to work!

I got all the silver negative contacts installed, and the bottoms face milled flush...

Comin' right along...

SOME times, when scanning the classies in the wee hours, a person gets lucky.

My timeline to be prepped for my first CC just skipped ahead a couple/few weeks. Just ordered a tub of the No-Ox-Id. What else do I need to buy to be a responsible CC caretaker? I know I've read this answer at least a dozen times, but I know this thread has lots of help-y peeps lookin' out for each other!

I saw that, great find and a great price. Congrats!

A BearTex or ScotchBrite ultra fine pad and Rennaisance Wax will take care of the beauty and I use a 5K grit automotive sanding pad, available at any auto parts store, for my positive contact. That and some 99% isopropyl for wipe downs and contact mtnc are pretty much it.
