Okay I really want to pick one of these up. Can someone tell me how to purchase them and what the cost is? I am sure it is listed somewhere in this thread but after scanning 15 or so pages I have not found it yet.

Thanks!

Welcome, Rathamar!

Yes, indeed! Just shoot me a message, and we can hash out the deets! :D

Thanks, guys! :)

Looks great! I wish I liked the Pancake a little more so I could have an all Ti setup.

It took a few tries and several different coil types. In the end, the best for me was a simple coil a'la turbo style.

2 strands of 26 kanthal wrapped 4 times equaling .35. Kinda low for some folk but works really well in the pancake, lots of flavor.

Pic for reference:

and, since I'm here, why not another shot of the Ti...

I've always been curious about this atty, and in particular, this setup you have in it... How does the air actually get to the coil with all that cotton in the way? Unless I'm missing something obvious here? Just seems like it would be a very hot and uncomfortable vape... I would imagine having it slightly askew would be better for airflow and would imagine that is how I would set it up...

The way the wick is setup, the air goes around the tails and up through the coil. The tails do impede on the airflow some but not too much. The vapor isn't really that hot, much less than it looks. I've tried the askewed coil but didn't like the wicking. I also get no leaking out of the air-holes like the other builds.

Here's a shot down the barrel showing the wicks blocking the airflow, nowhere left but up!

They're usin' worm holes now???

Gotta admit, less than an hour from departing Chicago to arriving in Sydney is pretty impressive :p

If the tracking had updated live, I would never have had that minor heart attack this morning - I was still seeing Chicago long after 8.14 this morning

Disclaimer: terrible pic, abused mod, and gunky coils... and I may have recommended this build here before.

I own three Pancakes and run dual vertical coils in all of them. I've been through just about every build in this atty and dual verts are what work for me. Air hits the coils directly and the flavor is outstanding.
