This is NOT a wiener puppy!

(Yes, I have always been known for my keen powers of observation :D)

Deets, please...

Cutie pie, tho!

Lucy is mostly Dachshund with a bit of Chihuahua mixed in for good measure we think. She was rescued from the mean streets of San Francisco by good friends of ours who put out all of her info, (with no one claiming her) but couldn't keep her and she was headed for the pound. We took her in for a weekend while they were away and she never left. At the time I told my wife " that dog is going back on Monday" to which she said " we'll see" and at that point I pretty much knew I was screwed.

She was scared, completely freaked out and deathly afraid of men as well as being nothing but skin and bones with her claws worn down to her toes. It took her a while to feel at home and to make a long story short she is super sweet, is now my best buddy and doesn't leave my side as well as being happy as Larry. All she really wanted was to be loved. In the end we are glad we didn't turn her away as she has turned out to be a really wonderful addition to the pack.

Edit: Lucy, our dearly departed Daisy and her sister Ruby.

Thanks for sharing her story. There's nothing in the world quite like the love of our furry friends.

Hello everybody. I've been lurking here admiring all of these great looking mods and wondering if the procedure to get that awesome finish was posted somewhere. I don't have a cc mod but I do have a brushed aluminum mod from someone else on this forum. If I could get the finish to look half as good as these mods I would be happy. Thank you.

Depending on how deep the brush lines are on your mod, you may be able to just use Scotch Brite to get it to a nice smooth finish. If the brush lines are deeper than you like, you may have to go thru varying grits of sandpaper to get down below those lines. Then you can finish if off with Scotch Brite. Just lay the pad on a good flat surface and drag the mod in the direction of the brushed lines. A good metal polish and a microfiber cloth will do wonders, as well. Hope this helps. :thumb:

Hope everybody is doing well :) Im just a drifting by to share some pics :D

If anyone else wants a 6061, 7068, SS, or Ti,... lemme know, asap. ;)
Purdy!

Corey, is the dually going to be curved or straight? (Not the triangle one, but the side by side one.) I can't remember what you said. Are you thinking next month? It would make a lovely Christmas present!
