Its a captivape flow ringBasically just for looks
so it just sits there ? What keeps it from falling off ?
I wasnt sure exactly how to build for this so I just tried a simple single coil on it for now
6 wraps 26G 316L over 2.5mm mandrel yielded 0.38 ohms cold.
placed the coil a little high to get closer to the air flow, and positioned it like this in relation to the slot:
I started with just the single airflow open like pictured above, but liked it much better after I rotated the cap and opened both airflows to wide open. One directly above the coil and the other across from it as if I did build dual coils. Pretty respectable vapor production and I agree, the flavor is pretty good for a top airflow setup. I too was surprised
Gonna experiment more later but Im enjoying it too much at the moment to try a dual setup

I'm a Fury fan as well... had it on the CC for quite a while (dual 27g 2mm id). But I moved it over to my Octopus, because the CC is now awaiting the Halady. Should be here Thursday--- so excited for that one! Will post pics, of course.

The single 18650 Classic mod material choices are:
6061 Aluminum - $350
7068 Aluminum - $450
316 Stainless - $500
6AL-4V Titanium - $600
The dual battery mods and the 26650 mod will all be 7068 Aluminum and will be $450.
Just let me know if you'd like for me to build you one.

I was born in Georgia, grew up in Louisiana/Tennessee/Florida and mostly (6 years) in New York but Florida has always been "home". I'm not sure what I qualify as
