Actually, tho.... that bump in the middle of the contact there, will act as a fulcrum. When the button is pressed, It, that bump,...will put pressure on one side of the bridge, then the contact will continue on towards the other side of the bridge, and make contact...

The bridge consists of a 3d printed piece that has a recess in it. In that recess, there is a strip of solid silver sheet. This way, you have silver in contact with both batteries, and the make/break happens on the top side of the bridge.
So, in summery,.... silver negative contacts, silver bridge, and silver contact point on the positive contact, making for a silver to silver make/break, remote from the batteries, themselves...

'spretty awesome...

I think, anyways... :p

Yep yep yep....pretty ingenious!! As you recall Corey the positive contact configuration was one of the big issues with doing a metal dually mod when we first started talking about doing one ;) Great job engineering something that will be very functional but also safe. Great work my friend...just awesome!!

Thank you, sir. :)

You know first hand how long I fought with this, seemingly simple, little design aspect...

I definitely think this is the right way to go. :thumb:

Yes I certainly do

I absolutely agree with this being the best positive contact configuration.

Thanks so much for having the patience and resolve to see it through to a working concept!:thumb:
