You know what's crazy!?

Looking at your pictures in the past, I've wondered why your FD classics were smooth on top! Cause I remember asking you thru PM if they were classics and you said yes. But I forgot to ask why yours were smooth with no slots..

Thought maybe FD changed it, but no, you did!

My only question now, is if I would somehow ruin the threads of my 510, how would I remove it?

With my Pekos I use a quarter to remove my 510s, but I need those slots to do so.

I know you have some way of removing it

And I do love the thought of removing those slots, I also run o rings down there and it doesn't create a seal with those damn slots

Ruin the stainless steel threads in the 510??? o_O

You hard on stuff, ain't ya??? ;)

No sweat, my brother.... Just remove the big brass nut fromunda the cap...

Once it's off, you can thread it out by hand... Simple... :thumb:

C, I'm actually not real hard on stuff, but I was thinking more of a "what if" kinda deal.. I have a bunch of Pekos and a bunch of extra classic 510's, thankfully I've not had to replace any.

I love how you removed the slots, now I'm pondering how I can remove the slots on mine... I don't have a mill or a CNC.

And the way G designed the Peko I'm not sure if it would work properly with a shaved down 510..

Anywhooo,

Keep up the great work!

Can't wait to see mine being born!

Hey, RG! I was jus' messin' with ya... :)

The recess in the top cap needs to be set to a depth with the height of the flange in mind... A shaved down classic would work in your Peko, you'd just have to run a fat o-ring. Somethin' in the 8mm x 2mm type range... :thumb:

Does he vape? If so I bet a bribe mod would go a long way. :D
