I just had old flip top phone case laying around so I figured I'd make use out of it....and it was free!
Most of the time CC is either in my hand or in my pocket as it is very pocket friendly being so sleek & small.

I, personally, shy away from putting tape on batteries that slide into a fixed-bottom hole with no means of pushing it out from the other side. On the rare occasion, the tape will free an edge and then gumble up on itself. This could lead to some fun times with "battery extraction".

That's the beauty of that holder, it will work with any of these mods.
Mine really don't leave my hands long enough, without a parking place, to holster them,
I did have a co-worker make me an embossed leather holster, I tried it a few times around him to show my appreciation. I'd let someone put it too use if they like the initial "B" and have a 3 battery bottom feeder
These are definitely very pretty and snugging.
