May I interject.... this "hitting too hard"… is this from an aluminum version? just thinking what Christmas toy I should be getting? or maybe get one for each kind of material... lol

Thanks, folks. Really! I appreciate the encouragement and the desire to ease the pressure a little.
I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself to complete tasks that are in front of me. Which, normally is a good thing.... But when you have almost a years worth of work ahead of you,...it can be a bit overwhelming... The thought of so many people waiting for me to complete a task is a lot of pressure, in and of itself....
I do enjoy making these mods, and I love it when people get 'em and have good things to say. I just really wanna be able to cut some time off the wait, so folks who want 'em can have 'em in a reasonable amount of time...
So,... in an effort to make that possible, I've been talking with a local machinist, friend of a friend type thing... What I'm considering doing, is hiring him to do some of the machine work. Perhaps just the sizing and rounding of blocks, but maybe some drilling, as well... I spend an awful lot of time sizing, rounding, and drilling holes... It could potentially free me up to do more small part making, and hand finishing, so that I can get a few more mods out per week...
Workin' 7 days a week, this many hours a day, by myself, isn't sustainable for the long term... At some point it'll either come to, slowing down a bit, or gettin' some help. I can't stand the thought of increasing wait times, so I'll probably opt for some help.
We'll continue the talks, and see where it goes... In the meantime though,.... I'll keep crankin' as hard as I can. I really am enjoying this whole thing, and I wanna see it continue for a long time to come.
Good thinking!!! get some help! You can't possibly sustain your current work schedule! And it certainly MUST be overwhelming looking at a list the length of a roll of toilet paper. Can't see it getting any shorter anytime soon. Make 2 add 6 on list, make 2 more add 5 on to list and on and on it goes! Get some help while the iron is hot and pump out those bad boys but still maintain a certain quality of life level.
Just sayin'!
They are both nice, But you won't be getting it for Christmas, at least not this year.

Not the Aluminum, it's the design, damn near perfect, no matter what the material
so even with aluminum (cause I find the brass a little too heavy for regular use) the hit is strong enough?
