I've actually got an idea about that that would involve way less swarf than starting with a "billet"...Relax and work on that silver mod for you
do all the holes for the bottle fit the larger bottles or do we have to specify what we would like?
I've settled on the perfect diameter, that works for both... Nice and snug on the 9ml, but just slightly larger than the 6ml bottle. No real discernible "play", so to speak... It fits both bottles well.
I still ask which bottles you'd like me to send with the mod, though...

Well, it seems that USPS tracking is up to it's normal garbage again. I had one priority package delivered today that never made the tracking list. My CC shows processed at origin sort facility in Tulsa, and that was yesterday. No movement of any kind. I've got another package that was shipped from California a few days ago and it's still showing pre-shipment. So, unless someone starts scanning stuff and it ends up being shown online, I have no clue if my CC will be here tomorrow or Friday, or any day for that matter. Stalking the tracking sure doesn't do any good.
Don' be discouraged, Paul. All four packages I sent out Tuesday, all say the same. Although,...I didn't get my mail until just after 10pm yesterday... It's typically here by 4:30 or so.... That is officially the latest I've ever had the USPS deliver mail. 
My mail was really late yesterday also. It's always here at about 2, but it didn't show until close to 6. That was the latest here as well. I guess the Monday holiday really have them messed up. I'm hoping to wake up in the morning and see that it's in Austin. That means "out for delivery" the same day!
In my experience, UPS is slower and more expensive. Plus,..no regular Saturday delivery. I'd say a good 98% of the time, Priority Mail gets it to anywhere I ship, in the lower 48,... within the two days. On a few rare occasions, it's taken 3 days. It seems like UPS is 4, sometimes 5 days, to a lot of places...

UPS is a lot more expensive and takes longer also. USPS works fine, most of the time. I don't know what happens that they kind of go into a meltdown and nothing seems to work. Only a couple of times has a package of mine got a free tour of many parts of the U.S. that it normally wouldn't ever see.
In my past experience UPS was always the most expensive option.
I haven't compared in a few years, but I used to ship a lot of 10 to 20 lb packages and Fedex was the least expensive of all the options for that a few years ago.
