Gave C4 the Royal treatment yesterday. Noticed quite a few scratches in the finish. First time trying out the scotch brite pads. I have some more work to do, but I got most of the scratches out.

All nice and clean and deoxit applied where needed. Except the button. Damnit I forgot to pull the button!

I start with 400, then 600, then 1000, then ultrafine Norton Bear-Tex...

Do you think the Bear-Tex will work on SS to give the Thump's cap the brushed finish?

Bear-Tex pad is awesome stuff!
Just lay it on the table make a few passes of the CC straight across on all sides and voila, looks brand new!!

I couldn't find the ultra-fine Bear-Tex easily (meaning, not on Amazon Prime!).
I went with the Scotch-Brite equivalent that was mentioned here before

I have seen 'em on the ebay, in smaller quans....
