@B2L

That combo is the very combo I run sometimes too. Brass on brass and a Brads cap is hard to beat! I am using a white delrin Brads cap though, had black and white but black went to our man RuDawg with the CH derringer.

That patina looked good also, in my opinion, but they always look great shined up too!

Nice work buddy. Now start over And let her patina, shine, repeat...

;)

Thanks RG, I like the patina as well but all the shiny new brass pics got to me :)

I'll probably repeat the cycle many times to come, can't vape with gloves all the time :|

Lookin' good, Rob!!! :D

The new bottles are sweet, no? :thumb:

Yip they are sweet! Takes some serious getting used to after all the other squonk bottles... the touch is gentle to say the least! I will be converting a few more Squonkers today to the new bottle. Cee Cee #2 will also get a cleaning as well! ;)

CeeCee #1 and #2 have both now had a make over and full pit stop... they have been dragged over the abrasive sponge to give them their original clean brushed aluminum look... and they now both have the Italian Squonk bottles installed!

Just make sure you remove, or at least loosen your atty, to take the pressure off the threads. Then, loosen, or remove the little brass nut, just above the tubing. At this point, you should be able to use a small pair of needle nose pliers to grab onto the flat sides of the white delrin insulator, and lefty loosey.

:D

Thought the next initials I would see were 'BC'

I will slap your hand if I see you trying to reach across the table again, Bob. You ask for it to be passed to you or you can go hungry!

What, you guys don't have non-magnetic pliers?

Oh wait, neither do I...

You really wanna have fun? Try soldering a GDNA upper into which you've already glued the magnet(s). I learned early on: Glue the magnets in LAST. Of course this doesn't help when you're doing rework on an old one...

I have one that needs rework (yes Bob it's the only one I attempted and the dna crapped out on me). Good to know to remove the magnets before! Thanks :D

Just went through this last night, fixing the fire wiring on a 3.1, had to anchor the soldering iron with one hand while putting the top internal in a vice:cool:

Congrats on the Vapiversary Rudawg,
Congrats on all the excellent looking mods out in the world now.

Corey, you're nailing it on the production times, and the whole discussion about the button throw, made me giggle remembering our discussion about just that topic in the opposite direction...
