I can't wait to get my brass CC and taker her over to my local vape shop to show her off. There are always a ton of people in there and I have a feeling she's going to make the rounds all around the shop that day.

They gon' be jealous..... :D

She should arrive home on Wednesday. Thursday at the latest. I really hope you love her. :thumb:

I have no doubt she's going to be a mod that totally floats my boat! I'm confident enough that I'm already having fantasies about getting my sticky little hands on one of the copper CC's.

Did a bit of maintenance on my copper CeeCee today. She got a full spa treatment -- removal and cleaning of all parts except the 510 housing and magnets, tarnish patina cleaned off with Semicrome, liberal application of DeoxIT on all connection parts, a very light drag across a Scotch-Brite 07448 pad, and Renaissance Wax. I'm almost wishing I hadn't done the Scotch-Brite. As you can see in the picture, it seems to leave a somewhat rougher texture than whatever Corey used on the 7075 next to her. I'm seriously tempted to try to knock that back down with more Simichrome.

Maybe next weekend.

Looks great Rossum!! Try Bear-Tex pads instead of the scotchbrite. Less aggressive and finer finish;)
That squonk hole on the 7075 looks.....well......custom.....:)

The copper looks great, Ross. The bear-tex 748 ultra fine gray pads will give it a finer finish. I'd be more than happy to buy a bucket of 'em, and have them shipped to someone, if they would be willing to handle the distribution. You know,...folks could just pay for shipping, and get a couple pads sent to 'em... Time is just not there for me to handle something like that, at the moment.

Not tryin' to volunteer YOU or anything,.....not again anyways.....

:D

On the squonk hole,...back in the early days, every squonk hole was different. I wasn't worried about them all being the same.... only that they looked good and functioned well... They are all uniform, these days. :thumb:

I dunno if ECF's management would let us run that way.
