I swear we must've seen tens of rounds of "birth" pictures.....

But watching all these metal chunks taking shape into a cc is always so mildly....

Ahem arousing. Ahem.

I CANT WAIT TO TOUCH MINEEEE

Nate, how does your brassy patina and darken so fast?! You cleaned yours way more recently than I have... I don't understand..

I want a dark, dirty brassy.

I guess it's just body chemistry? Look at my 7075! As far as I can tell, no one else can make a mod as nasty as I can in such a short time. Send my your brassy - I'll fondle it for a couple of days, thoroughly defile it, and then I'll send it back with a 100 year old antique brass patina. :thumb:

edit: can't wait to see how gross I can make a copper CC look. :glare:

I'm assuming a bit of Renaissance wax would clean that right up?

I have grubby dirty hands :/

You can use Brasso or very fine steelwork/scratch brute pads to clean it up. Renaissance wax will keep it looking good :)

Ahhhh gotcha. You can tell I'm not too handy around the house [emoji51] I just assumed Renaissance wax was like the do-it-all [emoji28]

:shock:Steel wool is the devil's work! But seriously, I can't think of many cases where there isn't a better abrasive than steel wool (it's great for cleaning nasty windows...). It (low carbon steel) causes rusting/pitting on darn near every surface. I cringe every time I hear my boss tell someone to "clean" a stainless steel piece with steel wool...

Hoho. In preparation for my incoming CC, I picked up a couple of tobeco velocity mini clones :) they are a lot smaller than the full sized, and comes with a squonk pin for easy swap to bottom feed! This should be good

Welp,.....I'm headed off to "work".....

I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday. :)

Hopefully,...I'll be home by 6pm tonight, or so.... It looks like it'll probably take tonight, and a good chunk of tomorrow to finish this batch.

No matter what, I'll have 'em in the mail Monday morning, as promised. :thumb:

Eciggity! 21 bucks. reviews for em are good too, and the swappable bottom fed pin makes it a no brainer for me
