Rob, those are incredible! @graver is such a craftsman! Unfortunately for us, he's on the other end of the world and would probably cost us a fortune to take advantage of the awesome services he provides. I am always in amazement at the great stuff you come up with!:)

Hey Mundy, I have a couple of the triangles (unmodified) around the house. If you want them, we could work something out.

Pm me.

Thank you. Let me see first what China says. I asked for 25 and so far received a "our sales team will reply shortly".

Actually with the RAND DOLLAR exchange rate buying stuff from South Africa would be pretty reasonable. Shipping to the US also isn't that bad... normal airmail post costs around $7 and it takes around 9-10 days. I have shipped to the USA many times and touch wood I have never had an issue. These tips converted to US$ would only be in the region of around $13. He is still doing a lot of hand work on them and is awaiting his new lathe and then he will stop doing it as a favour for me and go into business.

Not in Colorado yet!
I'm in the same boat as Moxie. Mine looks like his after about 3 to 4 days of use. I think it is just the chemistry of our sweat in our hands. Paul is going to refinish my BB for me and m going to ask him to apply some Everbrite to it to see how that goes. I bought the Everbrite about a year ago for something else and never used it. Might as well give it a go.

That Everbrite looks interesting. I'm curious to see how that works out. Please keep us posted, buddy. :)

Mox,

I have the same darkening... Did that cleanup involve scotch-brite pad or just Never-Dull and Renaissance wax?

I am going to give my CC a good cleaning tomorrow... Should have some free time to dedicate to it!

Wow, Wes should really get that cerokote removed...

On a very weird, odd note....

Look at Wes' brassy, by the button on the back of top cap there seems to be a dent that slightly pushed the material up in a bubble on the top (if that makes sense)

My brassy... took a fall on my tiled kitchen floor, it received the SAME bubbled dent, in the SAME damn place.

Check er out

It seems Wes' and my brassy are meant to be.
