Hey, Aal!

I use it on the threads of the brass screw that is the negative contact. I use Deoxit Gold on the face of both the negative and positive contacts. The No-Ox-Id can be used in place of Deoxit, though it is a little messier, though not as messy as Noalox. I think anyone who's having arcing at the positive contact, should try the No-Ox-Id, at the positive contact. It can be used at any electrical contact. It's good stuff.

On a reo I presume?

On mine with fresh noalox, I couldn't see it happen. But it didn't mitigate the damage noticeably more than deoxit.

After doing the upgraded contacts and all the low voltage drop modifications, the only thing that stopped eating up my batts was my solid copper post.

Better batteries will arc more. They're capable of a higher burst of current upon contact.

Yep, Reo's. I'm planning on trying out the beckdg upgrade as soon as my copper sheet samples RG is sending me show up. (RG is one cool guy! )
Really glad you shared info about that upgrade, I'd prefer to not fry my positive contacts.
