I think after the copper run, I'll pretty much be caught up. We'll probably move to an interest list type situation. I'm thinking, since there is a minimum of 25 units, I'll need to have a decent commitment for 15 or so, when it comes to the more expensive stuff like stainless... We're not talkin' money up front type of commitment here,...just a firm "I want one, and I'm ready" type o' thing.... Probably just one expensive type of material at a time... I have a 7 foot chunk of 7068 aluminum that needs machined,...so I'll probably start there... Need I remind you that 7068 is 80% the strength of titanium, only lighter and more electrically conductive? :?:

Anyway,...enough rambling..... more pichers.....:)

Since you're almost caught up... Any chance we'll see "Critical Spares Packs" in the near future?

I'm curious, what would be the advantage of stainless steel?

Yep, no patina with stainless, though it is heavy, and not nearly as good of a conductor as copper, brass, or aluminum. It would be super tough, though.... PITA to finish out though, I'm sure...

Cannot believe I've got one of these beauties in the works! Having only stumbled across this forum last week, and reading through the first half of it. Thought it'd be months from now before I'd get my hands on one. Corey is definitely on top of his game...product and customer service are second to none, not that I need to tell y'all!

So first I think "I gotta get a Brassy", then I hear Corey's got copper. So then I think "Well, I NEED a copper CC!" Then he mentions stainless and I'm all about having one of those. Now there's some 7068 available?!?! 2nd mortgage here I come?

Well, see, that's what I was thinking... heavy, poor conductor... the "patina" on the aluminum is slightly annoying, but I don't see a good trade-off in ss. Now, titanium is another story... ;)
