I am 56 pages into part 1. Did anyone ever try alpaca?
LOL, yeah, when I ran into that suggestion, it stopped me cold.
The first thing my mind did was recall the smell of burning hair
I'll stick with what I've got thanks :danger:

Hey everyone :) I'm a new convert to the cc mods - picked up an ally one second hand. I just love it.

Was just wondering - is there any difference between the three mods as to which hits the hardest? Or are they all pretty much the same? I'm going to be slowly saving up my pennies to try and get myself another one and just wondered which one to get :)

The middle one? Is this the game where the pea is under the cup?

An old physics teacher told me: when you reach a certain amount of metal content and these far surpass that, that you'd find no measurable difference between any of them.

So anyone that tells you that they have a copper device and they can feel that it 'hits harder' is lying.

Rayon is a completely different animal from cotton and goes against the grain from everything we've learned about using too much cotton. Where we just want enough cotton to be able to smoothly pull it back and forth through the coil making sure to make full and even contact on the inside of the coil with out bunching up, with Rayon the objective is to pull it back and forth to where it is fairly snug. Almost to the point where you can pull the mod to fall over on it's side without actually doing so. The other thing with the Rayon is that it takes quite a bit more seed time to fully break in as opposed to cotton. It will also benefit by fluffing the wick to each end of the coil the same as with the cotton...;)
Funny thing is with MM I find that getting the cotton as tight as I can works the best. Never could get Rayon to work well with it nomater the density.
