What a coincidence......
Can you check to see what sizes I have for shirts? With this latest medium I know I have 3. I think one of them is a larger shirt that might fit Irish, if he is still interested and so inclined on the style I chose.

My 7075 with new silver negative contact installed:
No "fitting" was required. Remove old, screw in new. I suggest a bit of tape to hold the screw to the screw driver. Keep the screwdriver vertical and turn the body of the mod upside down. Look through the hole to line up the screw. At least that's what works for me and how I do it it.
I gave the whole mod a decent cleaning and waxing. I won't say she looks like new, but she does look good:

Yes, but the test wasn't entirely fair. While I did do the contact swap first, before any other work on the mod or the atty, I'd never done any maintenance on the original brass negative contact. Now the original brass contact doesn't look horrible, but I'm sure it it's not as good as it could be if I cleaned it all up and put it back in. I've done that in the past with the brass contact in the copper mod and it does make a difference.

Just to bring any newcomers to this thread up to speed, this is original copper mod that Corey made. It was a prototype, and after he made it, he pretty much swore off making solid copper mods for the next 6+ months. I think his words were something like, "How can a metal so soft be such a PITA to machine?" Anyway, this mod may not be dimensionally quite the same as current production mods. It was also the first CeeCee that I got, and I was somewhat spoiled by the short button throw on some other mods, and felt the throw on this one was a mite long with the Samsung 25R batteries I use in it. So I had a conversation with Corey as to how I might shorten it. In the end, I settled on a roughly 0.030" (~3/4mm) thick washer under the negative contact. It's amazing how much difference less than a mm make to the feel of the button.. But of course that meant that the bottom of the negative contact was no longer flush with the bottom of the mod:
I took that pic today. I did clean the bottom of the mod first, but you can see this mod has been used, and if you look carefully at 1:30, there's a bit of displaced metal from a tumble it took onto a tile floor. Cooper IS soft...
So due to this, Corey did supply one contact that's a bit longer than standard. Here it is compared to the ones I took out of the other two mods:
And here it is compared to the the one I took out of the copper mod, with the washer that was previously on the brass contact already moved to the silver contact:
Lastly, here it is, put back together:
That contact could have been a tad longer still, but it's close enough, and it engages more than the original brass contact did. I smooved the bottom of the mod a bit anyway, mostly to knock the tiny hump of displaced metal at 1:30 down flat.

7075: No perceptible change. However, I did swap out original aluminum button for a black delrin one that I picked up a while back, so I'm not certain it's an apple-to-apples comparison. It's always felt a tiny bit longer than the shortened throw on the copper mod, but not objectionably so.How's yer button throws???
Brassy: Right now, it feels like it's the longest of the bunch, but some of that might be the fact that she isn't really broken in.
Copper: Probably the shortest of the bunch, and feels like it's tiny bit shorter than it did, but I'm not complaining!
Let me see if I can get some measurements with the tail of a set of calipers...

7075: 4.04/3.09, so 0.9mm throw.
Brassy: 2.88/2.78 so 1.1mm throw.
Copper 3.96/3.39 so just shy of a 0.6mm throw -- but would be by far the longest w/o the washer under the contact.
Disclaimer: These are relatively sloppy measurements and I did not bother to use the same battery in each mod. All three batteries are nominally the same (blue 25R's) but there may still be a some tolerance from battery to battery. An no, I'm not going to measure battery length with metal calipers.
