I need to find a new atty for my new cc next week. Any recommendations? Need big air. Waiting on a tsnumai that would probably work well but I like to have options lol

My top 3, in order...

Nuppin'- no longer in production, very versatile from tootle puffer up to full on lung hits. You see them pop up every now and then in the classies.

Stumpy- not sure if more will be available, Catfish converted several batches which went pretty quick.

Derringer- relatively cheap and easy to find, would need to be converted to BF.

I saw where the Origen Little 16 has a "cloud chasing" cap available now (as an additional option), it comes bottom fed and is a fantastic 2 post atty with great flavor. I sold mine because it was too restrictive but will likely pick up another with a cap here soon.

If you like big air let me toss out the NoPity by No Name mods. Some of the best flavor I've gotten from any atty (Narda included). A breeze to build on (easier than velocity style deck even) and the smoothest airflow. Biggest option is 3× 1.8mm holes on each side and there's an optional cloud cap that adds side airflow to the underside. Even closed off it was too much air for me.

Wow....I have the same ones!!

I own/using now:
3 Stumpys
2 Nuppins
1 Derringer

I'll will be trying out a Origen Dripper with BF pin when I receive my NEW Cee Cee. O, and a Narda that is earmarked for a regulated squonker.

I´m sorry my friends, but if you like air and clouds on a atty, with the bonus of flavour, nothing beats the Predator from Helfire. An expensive atty for sure, not easy to get but damn! It is even too airy for me! You can close it down ;)

For 14mm atties, nothing beats the Viper V2... ooops, again from Hellfire. AH AH AH. I´m after a Stumpy myself also ;)

I have a question to all you experts. A friend was measuring the voltage drop with a mech and it reads 4.01V with a 1.43 ohm coil in it. When pressed the firing button, it reads again 3.82V. Isn´t that a major voltage drop??? Sorry about the question but I usually don´t fiddle with numbers beside basics. That should be a 11.2W delivery setupu but in the end it seems to be delivering something arouns 10.2W. It seems big to me! I need the expertize opinions here! ;)

And just for the record it was NOT a CC mod. But a rather expensive mech coming out in a few days... a over 600 dollars mech mod!

The question as always with numbers like that is: How much of that was battery sag and how much of it was actual drop between the battery and the atty?

Agree. I would rather see a measurement of a mods internal resistance rather than the ambiguous voltage drop. If there were a method of measuring the voltage directly on the battery under load the internal resistance would be easily calculated.

Antoher way would be shorting the battery terminals and measure the resistance directly from the 510.

Having done both direct measurements under firing conditions and static measurements with a milliohm Kelvin meter I have found that sometimes they don't agree with each other. Seems that resistance can rear it's ugly head when under a higher load than a meter can put it under. I assume that is due to contact points in the pathway. I did have one occasion that was just the opposite so current improved the connection.
