Love those videos!! You're raising a child prodigy:) Soooo wish more parents would recognize their child's potential and show the initiative to develop it. Wonderful job you're doing!
Agreed!

The mind has so much potential before age 6, it's incomprehensible.

Wasting it at that age leaves a child half a life time behind.

My child will be a prodigy... but only because this knowledge is not wide spread and utilized.

You and me both my friend [emoji3] Do you have a list for yours?

But of course, my good man! It was out to almost a year, at one point, back when I was only putting out 2 per week. About 6 months ago, I enlisted the help of a local machinist, so now I'm able to do 5 per week. The wait time is down to 2-3 weeks.

The weight of a year long waiting list was more than I could take....

Things are better now. :)

and any tree will tell ya, metal beats wood ;)

And lizard poisons Spock...

Yes, in the axe vs tree sense you are correct but in mods I pretty much love them both ;)

BTW, these aren't all mine, half of these belong to Rossum.

I will admit....some of those stabilized wood mods are gorgeous. But I would be afraid to take them ANYWHERE :p

They're tougher than you may think but won't hold up to blunt force trauma as well as metal for sure.

I take mine everywhere. They're really hard to leave at home, but there are situations which definitely call for metal [emoji6]

Thank you, Slots.

Real trick is keeping them interested enough to pique their curiosity. Then they damn near teach themselves. Put a fork in the road here and there, nudge them in the right direction... and enjoy them being fulfilled the same as they enjoy being fulfilled.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll not only feed himself, but your soul as well.

You have no idea how much joy your posts about your son have brought me. You took it a few steps further than my parents did, but I skipped a grade here and there. When I finally got to experience connected computing, it was like the ultimate light bulb went off. I am so very happy for your son. Us old codgers can have a glimmer of hope through him, in a world where we were seeing the fall of the IQ. Thank you, thank you.
