Does anyone else experience juice seeping from the 510? My guess is through the white Delrin insulator. It's not problematic per se, but I can definitely notice juice around the 510 pin that the bottle hose fits into, after about a week of use.

In any case, I used to. Ended up putting some thin plumbers tape on the threads of the Delrin piece, and it's stopped doing that.

Now that I got a few CC's in my collection Im gonna make a little Delrin stand to display them properly :D Just wanted to share some renderings before I actually machine it ;)

Decided to go ahead with 4 slots knowing that another CC is in the future :D

Yep! Want! :D

Thanks for that, hadn't even thought of that and mine is looking a little flat so will sort that out. Tubing was still intact thankfully so just gave it a clean and put it back on. Thanks for the welcome also. :)

Cleaning is done and what a huge difference it has made, that negative contact in particular was extremely dirty, both on the screw and the threads on the mod. Now it has gone from underwhelming to overwhelming, loving it.

Nice! That looks like Subohmies' 6061 mod...:?:

That's one of the first 10 I ever made! :thumb:

Teflon tape is a perfect solution for the outer threads on the white delrin insulator. Typically though, if the atty is cranked down on the mod pretty good, the downward pressure on the threads is more than enough to get a good seal. Teflon/plumbers/thread tape works really well, either way. :)

They're like my children, Ross... I recognize 'em, right off....
Just ask, DB. He won't tell who he got his first 7068 from...... but I know...:)
OK, with the first few, I can understand that, but given the number of ostensibly identical ones you've made since production ramped up, I'm amazed you can identify them individually.

Hey, JB! Welcome, Indeed! :)

B is correct, as usual. :thumb:

I would add this.....

MyUgIhxl.jpg

You see the positive contact on the left??? Those are the "factory" bends... You'll wanna reestablish those bends, so that the contact puts the appropriate amount of upward pressure on the underside of the button. This should be done periodically.

Also, make sure you put some heat shrink, and/or silicone tubing on that positive contact, so you don't end up with a short.
If you need anything, just let me know. :toast:
Corey might that thing bend down on its own? Like overnight while there is a battery inside? [emoji53] [emoji50] [emoji47]

Yours or D_B's.

3 Henley (including mine)
4 pocket tees (3 from Rossum alone)

1 white shirt. Nauti, I believe that unicorn is all yours. And the wife and my buddy both commented how sharp it looked.

Thank you for your efforts Beck buddy!!:thumb:

Yep! Stole 'em....

Thanks, Rudy!

No worries! Glad the pictures lent themselves to help others. After repeated cleaning of my contact points, etc. I never even thought about the "factory bend" until you brought it to my attention! I applied the bend back in my lady's CC and has been great ever since. Amazing how such a small adjustment made the difference!!

Good call haha, it is, I believe he went regulated a while ago. It has been around the block a few times, I'm the 4th owner now.
