I got caught coming back from the garage, and chewed out because I didn't let "him" drill it out
I told him not to fret ... I had 3 more to do
Anyway, I got it all put back together, and it's so "stiff", I can't depress the button
So I put the old one back in, and I'll have to figure out what's wrong.
When I got through drilling out the hole, there was no problem with the silver catching on anything, but, it wouldn't "bend" when depressing the button ... and I even checked to make sure I hadn't accidently locked it
I'll have to work at this to find out what my problem is.
In any case, after being drilled, it works better now anyway

Just finished installing one in my first reo. The button press is a good bit stiffer than with the original, especially with a flat top batt. I'll probably only use button tops with mine for the shorter throw. So far, I'm diggin' it.
