7068 ordered. I have a little time to change my mind in favor of stainless -- but I'm on the list! :thumb:
Welcome! I am giddy with excitement that baring any freaky USPS shenanigans, I should have my CC on Wednesday.

The mods are all Beck'd out, (waxed an' ready)!!!

the 510 tool comes with a second nut to prevent this. you're supposed to thread the tool on partially with the nut in place on the tool, then hold the tool from turning and tighten the nut to the 510, essentially double nutting it. it's then very tight and you can remove or install the 510 easily, then once it's in place you just hold the tool from turning again and crack the nut loose the opposite way and the tool should then be loose to thread out without affecting the 510 at all.

I GET IT. "Nut" refers to the brass ring? Hahahahah I thought it was just a 1 for 1 replacement for my original one [emoji23]

Alright CC friends - can we talk BF attys?

As you know, I'm new to squonking. I have a fair amount of BF RDAs:

Hobo 3.1
NoPity S
Origen 16

And I have 2 BF clones in the mail, a Narda and an M-Atty :D

What are some of your "must-have", "go-to" BF RDAs?

Sloth - what is it I see on your CCs all the time? Thumpy? Stumpy?

What's a "Nupin"? o_O

Thump continues to be my number one. Not many other ppl seem to enjoy it as much as I do though.

The NarDa... Took me a while to warm up to it because the airflow is far tighter than what I'm accustomed to. But damn. The hype is real. The flavor is top notch.

I recently got my Maker and Sapor. Very very very underrated rdas IMO.

My bassist lovers are all over the place, but I'm more into the Vic Wooten, Marcus Miller kinda stuff really.
Though I must say as cliche as it is that Claypool is by far my favorite bassist.
Not the best - but my favorite...
Vic and stu hamm for me. Flea of course even though you think they lost their touch ;)

Forgot that I ordered a Snapdragon too! Been on a bit of a bender lately :D I love my clone, so I'm excited to try the authentic with a BF pin.

Are there any BF attys that are more leak-resistant? I guess I need some lessons on how to not oversquonk instead?

Hey phanner-
I'm relatively new to BFing also. I'm a flavor preferer. The RDAs I'm liking (without a great deal of testing diversity) are:

Stumpy: Modified by Chowderhead. Single, centered Zcoil give warm, thickness, and good options on air control

NarDA: Another modified by Chowderhead. Singe, centered coil. It lives up to the hype. Tight draw but, the NarDA, noted by several users, seems to like .7 ohms so, the tight draw isn't that much a factor. Since it's almost impossible to get a real NarDA I hear some of the clones are very good.

I traded my Hobo 3.1 for a Catfish modded Maker. The Hobo is a wonderful flavor atty in top or BF. My irritation with it was fitting the barrel on with the little tabs and lining them up. The Maker, to me, give all the benefits of a Manta without the little fiddley AFC adjustment. It's a bit of a different vape what with the top airflow and taller chamber but, I'm happy with it.

I have two Nuppins coming. They're made by pdib who also makes beautiful BF mods. They're held in high regard but, I can't give any personal experience.

Good luck!

I'm a huge Nuppin fan. I think I have 6 (maybe 7) and I'm on the list for 3 more.

I think they're comparable to the O-16's flavor-wise [emoji848] although I like the airflow options better with the Nuppins.

YMMV

Thanks for your thoughts!! We seem to like the same things from our attys (FLAVOR!) so I'll keep your suggestions in mind!
