If your putting them in a Dripbox, yeah the're expensive...

If you're putting them in a CC or other high end mod then not really. ;) Like so many things in life it's all a matter of perspective. :)

Pricey? Yes.

Excessively so? I don't think so.

Given what an improvement they are and how much longer they should last, I feel like it was a good investment for me. (But I just got ordered a mod made from Titanium, so my judgement may not be trusted ;) )

Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

I received some of these yesterday - both the 21mm dia for my VR Wood mod and (Aussie pcan68) PC Wood Mod squonkers , and 18mm in readiness for the Ti CC which is, I hope, winging its way here as I type.

I think the silicone bottles are outrageously expensive, but absolutely worth every penny :D Of course, there are obviously the same questions over my judgement as jwat82's :p

I like the soft Italian bottles, but found they are prone to leaks. That's not so good for wood mods, and my wood mods happen to have 21mm dia bottle spaces anyway. The Sunbox silicone bottles are noticeably softer than the Italian ones, and so far I've not had even the tiniest inkling of a leak. And they come in two sizes. So I'm considering it money well spent!

Oooh - I've just noticed Sunbox are selling the bottles with closed caps.

Ti arrived yesterday and wow this thing is really nice. Haven't got it up and running just threw the pancake on there for a picher.

Oh and the repair job on the SS CC is great. Thanks Corey :thumb:

Most welcome! :D

Thank you, my brother. :toast:

Damn,.....that Ti on Ti action is hot!

If you think those super soft Italian bottles change the game of squonking you should try the Sunbox Cappy V4 BFX bottles. The Cappys are a significant improvement over the Italian bottles and the design is leakproof. Plus they got a nifty logo :D

I'm running them in all my CC's now :thumb:

Really interested in the dual battery mod. Is there somewhere that's lists pricing and available options? Also, assuming these are setup as parallel? Lastly, would like to know how the firing mechanism works, specifically, where is the on/off contact? Hoping it's not at the batteries.

Yep, I may, or may not,...still be playin' around with such things.... :sneaky:

The fda bs kinda forced my hand a little,...in that I felt like I needed to hurry up and get built, everything I had any plans on building, evar.... by 8/8/16..... :rules:

Otherwise, no one in their right mind would put out 4 new products, all at the same time,...especially whilst sitting a whole lot of current stock...

Also, I think it'd be a little silly to publish under-the-cap pics, thus locking oneself into a particular configuration, with no room for improvement, without potentially creating a "new device", after the aforementioned deadline...

All that said, I wouldn't expect anyone to just buy a mod, without first seeing under the hood, especially at the price point we're lookin' at. :)

I'll post here when I have some news about production of the new mods. :thumb:

Thanks Bill, I'm quite pleased with how it turned out :) Took awhile to turn and drill but the outcome was worth it :D Gotta swap out that red oring to a black one yet and then it will be complete :)
